Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

I would be willing to bet "pill popping" was a part of everyday life for them, so the trace amount found in their systems at the time of death would have had little if any affect on them that evening.

Keep in mind that Lisa did the same with the exception of the jail time, though she did have a DUI, I don't think she did any jail time for it. She also hung out with the same hoodrats & criminals & by all apearances, from photos we've seen, this had been going on before she met Johnny. I don't bring this up to slander her name but when you say "Your not a great person and yet able to live that life style" Does that also apply to Lisa? or just to Johnny? As far as the both of them hanging out with TW while having bad blood with AP.... that doesn't make sense to me either & it would seem to go against the "street code" they seem to be so committed to.

Yes, Lisa did some very stupid things like drinking and driving and drugs and choose the wrong boyfriend to fall inlove with from what I see she had a bit of the wild in her too.. On the other hand Johnny's wild was a bit different.. He grew up with people like this and was only taught by his mother and father who were from what I see not much better.. He attempted to rob someone at gun point and in turn served jail time for this.. There is a difference in Lisas trouble verses johnnys trouble.. I think hers was more of being young and stupid, johnnys choices however were major life changing choices in the way he chose to live.. I dont think Lisa was miss perfect but I think she was more to have a good time and Lisa had the advantage of having a family who seems to have class so there for they most likely taught her right from wrong and even though she may not have displayed that in some of her choices she still had it in the back of her mind.. As for johnny I think he knew right from wrong but was only taught to do the wrongs in life, if that makes sense. Johnnys life style was his way of living and lisa's was more party fun not a life style Im sure she would of lived forever but johnny on the other hand may have stayed in that life style forever.. Look at how is mother is. When your raised in a bad enviorment alot of people tend to follow in those foot steps (johnny) when your raised half way decent (lisa) then you may mess up when your young but later in life you have a good chance of changing and making your life into something.. Sorry I know I messed up on the qout!

Maytee was on the phone enroute during 2nd 911 call and when she arived at the Straubs tiff and John Sr. were there. Tiff left the 2nd time police were there. This is how I understood and I havr actually never questioned it to be any other way.

The reason I've always believed that TW & John Sr were there for the 1st police visit was because Maytee called the police the very 1st time at 1:20 am & relayed to the dispatcher the whole story about all the phone calls she had just recieved. In that 1st 911 call she tells the dispatcher that the girl that was on the phone with her son (TW) came to pick up her husband & that they were enroute to the Straubs residence. The dispatcher even asks her how long do you think it will take for them to get there. I may be wrong but I want to say that Maytee tells the dispatcher 10 minutes? I find it hard to believe that the police would be dispatched out to the Straubs, arrive there, knock on the door etc etc & leave finding nothing wrong ALL before TW & John Sr arrive. Wouldn't the dispatcher also let the responding LE know that there were people on the way to speak to them in more detail about what was going on? I would think so.

I'm not going to quote your whole post. I'll just say that I very much disagree with pretty much everything you've said Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Regarding TW being there when police arrived after the initial 911 call...don't know, but somebody was sure there or close by watching because Maytee informs the 911 operator on the second call that four cop cars were just the house. How did know that???

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Four cop cars were already out at this residence. They`re not there, and her car is in the driveway. I want to know where my son`s at.

She knew that because TW picked up John Sr & drove him to the Straubs. Maytee says that on 911 call #1. Something to the effect of : "The girl that was on the phone with my son just came & picked up my husband to take him over there were my son is house sitting with his girlfriend"

And when the police left after the 1st visit John Sr called Maytee and told her the police just left (?) Maytee says no way I'm calling them back and this time I'll be there (?)

I thought that was the second call, I didn't think anyone was there the first time police arrived?

Both had "therapeutic levels" of oxycontin and Vicodin and Johnny also had marijuana. I don't have time before work to post a link but it is available thru Toledoblade.com.

firefly, Do you have an opinion on Toledo Blade article? Thanks!

CASAREZ: So they were able to see that peering in the home. So two 911 calls. Police went to the home two times. But they didn`t see what the family saw when they merely looked in the window.

Everybody, we want you to listen to some of this. This is the first 911 call.

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Hello?

911 OPERATOR: Toledo 911.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Ma`am, my heart is beating out of my chest. I just got a call from one of my son`s friends.

911 OPERATOR: OK.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Her phone number, I have it right here. She just picked my husband up, too. My son and his girlfriend live out at Longacre Lane. I believe that`s Holland. This girl says she was on the phone with my son and his girlfriend. And he was supposed to go pick her up. He was telling her he was going out the door. And all she heard was the phone drop and heard my son saying in the background, Who are you? What do you want? What are you doing here? And she said she just drove by the house, and the house looked ransacked. All the lights are on. My son`s not answering and neither is the girlfriend.

911 OPERATOR: Is she still there?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: No, she just came by here to pick up my husband, my son`s dad. And I`m here with the other two younger kids.

911 OPERATOR: All right, what is your name?

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: My name is Maytee Vasquez-Clarke. Oh, my God! I have the girl`s phone number that he was talking to, that heard all this going on in the background.

911 OPERATOR: OK.

Yepp that's about the way I see it too. I've noticed less then an hour passes between 911 call 1 & 2.

call #1 - 1:24am
call #2 - 2:07am

I'm getting you now ladies. I just reviewed the tapes. Somebody had to be there to know that there were 4 cop cars there. I sure as hell hope that LE is analyzing these calls as much as has ben done on here. I think they are very telling. I think that Tiff has too many lies to keep straight!

Now I'm confused about something else. I can't believe out of all these fuckin pages and posts that this never occured to me. Maybe someone already discussed it and I'm having a brain malfunction.

If family was present since the first call, then why would coroner place time of death from 11 to 3am? The family was present from probably 1:45 until bodies were discovered. To me that would mean that they had to have been killed before the first call. They had to have been killed before that time. Right? What am I not understanding here? we have discussed these calls a thousand times...so why do I see them differently now? That would be freshbait thank you! It seems too obvious that the timeline is fucked up. Now I'm gonna feel like a real ass if someone gets on here and says "I said that about 500 pages ago dumbass" It is just too much detail for this old Kitty to keep straight God Damnit!

Poor wording on my part, edited to read:

"...the trace amount found in their systems at the time of death would have had little if any affect on the timeline that evening."

Don't feel bad. I had one of those moments last week about the safe & Verbosky being certain that the perps were there for the safe Smiley_emoticons_smile

IMO I believe they were dead before the 1st 911 call So sometime between 11pm - 1am. I think the coroner stating that they had taken the pills a FEW hours before death got me to thinking about the time line.

I think that the coroner states the time of death based soley on his assessment of the body exclusive of facts, phone calls, etc. The coroner still places the time of death within the range we are thinking. I think that Lisa took the drugs at work and Johnny took the drugs at the party. Just like in the game of "Clue".. I am ready to make my accusation.

Question on time of death. How can the time of death be between 1-4 am when the police arrived at about 1? Unless I remember the TOD incorrectly? Which ... is entirely possible. Anyone know?
