Jorelys Rivera, 7, GA. raped and murdered.
His family better not fucking sue. He hanged HIMSELF. Since they raised such an horrific piece of shit, I assume they are fucking shameless and will sue. I'm pretty sure the cops taped the final 3 hour interview and will be able to prove he wasn't suicidal.

The admitted killer of 7-year-old Jorelys Rivera was not under a suicide watch when he used his sweatshirt to hang himself in a prison cell, state corrections officials said Friday.

Mental health staff at the Jackson prison evaluated him on Wednesday and opted not to place him on suicide watch, according to Kristen Stancil, a Department of Corrections spokeswoman.

CANTON, Ga. -- A maintenance man who eventually admitted to sexually assaulting and killing a 7-year-old Georgia girl repeatedly denied any involvement with the crimes during his interrogation.

Video of a polygraph test and interview of 20-year-old Ryan Brunn, conducted five days after Jorelys Rivera disappeared, became a turning point in the investigation.

In the video, first obtained by WXIA-TV, Brunn appears nervous, pulling at his clothes and coughing as if to clear his throat.

"Did you cause the death of that girl?," a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent asks him. Brunn repeatedly is heard answering "no" to variations of that question.

At one point, Brunn admits that he had lied to a detective about whether he'd run a trash compactor where the child's body was found.

"I should have just told the truth straight up," Brunn tells the agent. "But I didn't. I was scared."

Later, after the polygraph test was administered, the examiner tells Brunn the polygraph showed that he was lying.

"Something is bothering you. It's written all over your face," the agent says.

"Nothing is bothering me," Brunn responds. "I'm not bothered at all. I'm not bothered at all."

Brunn later admitted in court that he had lied throughout the interview, and that he had molested and killed the girl at her Canton apartment complex.

He had just begun a life sentence for the crimes when he used his sweat shirt to hang himself in his prison cell on Jan. 19.

The mother of Jorelys Rivera, the 7-year-old who was slain by a groundskeeper at a Canton apartment complex in December, was arrested after a domestic dispute with her partner, WHO LOOKS LIKE A GANG DYKE.

According to a police report, officers were called to the home of Jocelyn Rivera-Ruiz in the 8300 block of Walden Crossing Drive in Canton around 6:55 p.m. Monday. (The incident report spelled the woman's name "Joselinne Rivera-Ruiz.")

Rivera-Ruiz and her partner, Maria Americano, had gotten into a fight, the report said.

Americano's daughter called police, and officers arrived to find Americano locked in a bedroom with Rivera-Ruiz' two children, ages 1 and 4. Police noticed bruises and scratches on both women, the report said.

The woman told police that she had tried to leave the apartment, but Rivera-Ruiz wouldn't let her. That's when Americano told police she "popped" her partner in the eye.

Rivera-Ruiz admitted to police that Americano was trying to leave, so she grabbed her and held her down, the report said. When police asked about her bruised eye, Rivera-Ruiz said she got it after tripping and hitting her head on a piece of furniture.

Rivera-Ruiz denied that she and Americano had gotten into a fight, according to police.

Police said they arrested both women, charging each of them with battery and cruelty to children. Rivera-Ruiz was released on $1,000 bond Tuesday.

According to the report, Rivera-Ruiz' aunt would take care of the children in the home while the women were in jail. The incident has been reported to the state Division of Family and Children Services, according to police.
