Never fear. Wager on the Lions (-5.5) and start 'making paper'.

Notworthy Wow! What a brilliant sports prognosticating mind!

Holy shit...you're bowing to yourself.

The Bears against the Buccaneers is the match happening at Wembley this year.

Wish the Steelers would come across the pond.

The Buccaneers are the 'home' team in this one, which means they're giving up one of their actual 8 home games at Raymond James stadium. The NFL usually gets one of the smaller market clubs to do this (host a game in London or Toronto, etc).

Also, they'll never have a 'divisional' matchup overseas, and the club being asked to 'lose' a home game, will NOT give up a game against a 'marquee' club, like the Steelers. So... my guess is, while the Steelers are perennial contenders, you won't see them over in London.

The Bears have a big following in the UK. When channel 4 first starting showing American football on TV in the early/mid 80's the likes of William fridge Perry and Walter Payton were some of the main stars the popularity endures.

The Dolphins also have a big following because of the great Dan Marino.

Dear Football Gods,

Please don't make me beg, just give me what I want.
Freaking Dallas.........freaking Pats butterfingers. El Crappo del Oopsie

LAS VEGAS — Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon died Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway after his car became ensnarled in a fiery 15-car pileup on Lap 13, flew over another vehicle and landed in a catch fence just outside turn 2.

The 33-year-old racer was a two-time Indianapolis 500 winner, including this year’s race.

Three other drivers, including championship contender Will Power, were hurt in the pileup.

Weldon was airlifted from the track to University Medical Center; about two hours later, his colleagues were told of his death.

I only watch the Indy 500 every year & don't get into NASCAR or other car races, but this is a horrible wreck. Believe it or not, they wreck all the time and very seldom do Indy car drivers die from it. Somehow they are well protected in that little thing. Reports are this wreck, for him, was unsurvivable. Only 33, sad. But they know the risks.

The camera is actually on board with Wheldon at the beginning of this video of the crash today.

Here he is after the 500 win...just in May this year. Seems like a real nice guy. :-(

Thank you, New England for holding off Dallas, I do appreciate that. Now, if only the Bills could have done the same against those dreadful Giants I'd be showing them the love this morning too.

I think I could be hot for Jason Babin. Damn, he's a big one. Rawr.
AFC North is pretty even so far, nice to see the Browns where they belong at the bottom.

Well, I haven't been afraid to pat myself on the back when I've been right in prognosticating, so I'll take the hit on this one.
Texas wraps up the World Series tonight in St. Louis.
