I think that's cool! He's a fun fan! I would wear that if I had one, I do wear a jersey, it varies as to what Eagles player it is. Someone gave me a NFL gift card for Christmas & I just ordered #93 Jason Babin...rawr! His arms are as big as my head!

FOXBORO - Falling behind means nothing to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. And because no deficit seems too big for them, the Patriots own home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.

Brady led the Patriots back from three touchdowns as they scored 49 straight points for a 49-21 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Brady finished the regular season with the second most yards passing in NFL history, 5,235, after throwing for 338
Go 49'ers!

Unfortunately, I'm afraid they'll crash in the play offs but at least we had a decent season.
Palm Beach Post

A man charged with offering a law enforcement officer two tickets to today's Miami Dolphins pro football season finale to avoid arrest might be mostly guilty of overestimating their value, a judge said at the man's bond hearing this morning.

Eric Scott Topalian, 23, of suburban Boca Raton, is charged with two counts each of possessing controlled drugs without a prescription, bribery of a public servant, threatening a public servant and resisting arrest without violence.

Documents detailing the alleged incident weren't available today because of the holiday.

Palm Beach County Jail records show Topalian was booked Saturday afternoon by Palm Beach County Sheriff's deputies.

Although the Dolphins face their hated rivals, the New York Jets, they've struggled through yet another sub-.500 season. They started 0-7, fired head coach Tony Sparano in mid-December with three games left, and go into this afternoon's Jets face-off with a 5-10 record.

"Have you been watching the Dolphins? No one's going to go to that game," Palm Beach County Judge Timothy P. McCarthy told Topalian.

Topalian began to say something but the judge admonished him that it probably would be better if he didn't discuss the potential value of an alleged bribe while he still was considered innocent until proven guilty. hah hah

"Miami-Jets tickets aren't worth a damn," McCarthy said, and reduced Topalian's bond accordingly, ordering him held in lieu of $6,000 bail.

As it turned out, it might have been the judge who made the wrong call about the game. The Dolphins won a thriller, 19-17.

Well, here goes. Might as well put it in writing and see how it turns out:

NFC Wildcard Weekend AFC Wildcard Weekend
New Orleans 38, Detroit 24 Cincinnati 19, Houston 14
New York Giants 24, Atlanta 21 Pittsburgh 20, Denver 16

NFC Divisional Weekend AFC Divisional Weekend
San Francisco 30, New Orleans 28 New England 45, Cincinnati 14
Green Bay 23, New York Giants 19 Baltimore 21, Pittsburgh 17

NFC Championship AFC Championship
Green Bay 27, San Francisco 13 Baltimore 28, New England 25

Super Bowl

Baltimore 33, Green Bay 30

I'm going with the Ravens. They aren't really on anyone's radar, and they've lost some ugly games this year. However, in 6 games against this year's playoff qualifiers, they are a combined 6-0 with an average margin of victory of more than 11 points.

BTW, they own the Patriots in the playoffs recently, so I believe they'll have that edge going for them. Their real nemesis in past post-seasons has been the Steelers. So far this year, they're 2-0 against them.

We shall see!

Noooooo! You can't have those dreadful Giants winning. Take it back right now! Taz
The Giants are to you what the Packers are to me.

Watching them win the SB last year hurt, and quite frankly, they're the favorites to do it again this year. It sucks big time.
As most people who follow the NFL know, Tim Tebow is a devout Christian.

After completing an 80-yard strike in overtime yesterday to give the Broncos an improbable victory over the heavily favored Steelers, did anyone happen to notice a very telling statistic for young Mr. Tebow?

He finished with 316 yards passing (BTW, the highest total allowed all year by the league's #1 ranked defense).

Anyone know the significance of 316?

How about 3:16?

As in John 3:16, probably one of the top 3 most recognizable verses in the New Testament.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

(I'm also quite certain that there's some unease in Patriot fans with the Broncos coming to town off that win. The Pats haven't exactly been unbeatable in the playoffs recently, and I personally am hoping T.T. has one more miracle in him).

That was an awesome game, the best one of the day.

The average NFL fan isn't thinking about scripture when we are enjoying the game. Weirdo.

Oh, I'm thinking about scripture on every single play!

WTF, Duch??

You think I'm such a fucking dork that I know that as it's happening?

Nope. Sorry to disappoint. Heard my local sports talk nerds discussing it this afternoon and thought it was interesting enough to repeat here.

Please don't ask me questions like that.

Even though I always try to own my own bullshit I will occasionally blame my snarkiness on others simply because you made me do it. I see things & I HAVE to comment. Right now, I'm refraining so that you might see the error of your ways.

There are people I know that think your (Duchess) beloved G-Men could beat the Packers this weekend.

Why not, I ask as well?

If anyone's defense is going to shut down Aaron Rodgers, it might as well be the Big Blue.

I say, Good Luck NEW YORK GIANTS!
