Songs, words they strike a chord then they leave. I've always liked this song.
Chet Atkins the guitar man.
My dad can still pick up his guitar and play Vincent.
One of my favorites.

RIP Good Ole Boy. Much respect for this man.
I didn't see Adub's, Gunnar's, and Donovan's tributes to Merle here before I posted in the Music News thread upstairs; sorry about that.
Ah well, Merle earned a place in multiple threads; so many great songs in 60 years of music-making.
A cool recent duet with Willie Nelson in the studio, "It's all Going to Pot".
Ahahaha! They're sharing a joint. Go, geezers!
My older sister got pissed because I told my old man to go get whatever drugs he wanted and do them up. I said, what's it gonna do, kill him? He's 85 and stage four all through him. Let er rip, I say. If I live that long Imma do every drug I can find.
Commonality, imagine that.
It's no fun...................
I'm not a big fan of U-2 but this song is good because of Pavarotti.
For Duchess:
Outstanding cover of Kashmir
That was surprisingly good.

She has an amazing voice.
I remember sitting at the top of the stairs that we called the stairway to heaven outside the naval base in San Diego watching the sun go down with a black chick named Alicia listening to Nights in white satin back in 79 she had the most beautiful green eyes and every time I hear that song I think of her. Funny how songs do that to a person. I even remember what she smelled like...........
