It takes some weaning away from. I truly believe he was and perhaps these
were the things he was passing on. Just like smoking, getting clean from
drugs is not an overnight affair. Give him a chance. My guess is he was

Lisa's friend. Come on, there are fuck ups in all our friendship groups. Oh
wait, when I belonged to the country club they all acted alike but oh, the
apartments the men shared to take women, the shenanigans that went on.
The happy golf and tennis pros. It's everywhere. Don't expect Johnny
to turn over a new leaf and that leaf be supremely free of flaws. That is
not life.

I get so confused by you Totally Curious Above you say that when you belonged to a country club Ohhhh the shenanigans that would go on there!! What with those professional golfers taking strange women back to these apartments they shared strictly for screwing :O
But then ONE post up you say:
Just in profession and parenting alone, Maytee Loses points to Lisa's mom.
Just in profession and parenting and spousal abuse J SR loses to Lisa's dad.
Just in family gatherings and holidays and physical surroundings Clarke's lose.None of this makes them bad,but a bee in their bonnet it could be.
Soooo how do you gather that the Straubs are winners & the Clarkes are losers & honestly what does that have to do with the price of tea in China? How do you know for fact that Mr Straub wasn't one of those professional country club types who took strange women back to some disgusting apartment to shag? Spousal abuse? lol where is this coming from? In my time on this Earth I have learned that all types of shady shit go on behind closed doors in ALL places. Even in the burbs. It's just kept more hush hush there (Insert secret apartment here) I feel like this thread has turned into a bash Maytee & pick her every word apart, not so much because of the way she's publicly chosen to grieve but because of her record. She is wearing a scarlet letter but it's not an A... it's a C. C representing Convict. There has been nothing & I mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G released by LE reguarding Maytee. I don't know where this rumor started that she JUST filled a script of Percocet, which then snowballed into her filling a script of percocet to give to Johnny to sell, which then snowballed into her giving Johnny a script to sell but it didn't work out as planned so therefor she somehow set her son up to be robbed but then he somehow came up murdered.
Please LE release if nothing else, a suspect(s) description.
I am really starting to believe that LE has this case and is just waiting to get all their I's dotted and T's crossed before making arrests.
When LE needs info from the public, they will normally release a piece of information to help people jog their memory for relevant information. Such as, (made up example) "a red Jeep Cherokee was spotted in the area around 7pm. If you saw a vehicle matching this description, please call xxx-xxx-xxxx."
Press releases are normally used to provide the public with selected bits of information to help with the case, or to provide updates on breaks in the case. I am beginning to think that the first presser is going to be when perps are arrested!!
LE certainly isn't providing info to solicit help from the public, so I hope that this is a sign that they know who the perps are!!!
You will never convince me that Tiffany is not involved in SOME way. I am guessing when LE finally makes and arrest she will among those arrested. I also would not be surprised if it ends up that his mom knew more then she is admitting also.

wasnt there a newer white van in the area or am i imagining this. thought i heard that?
This gives recent arrests, including photos and information. I have just started looking through it and I have found a Sharita from Toledo (don't know if she is the Sharita we have been looking for or not) and I have found at least one of Tiffany's friends arrested.

I have heard it mentioned (unofficially) that there was a white van in the area.
Just to be clear, I just gave a MADE UP example of why I think LE is not giving any press releases. This case is driving me nuts!!

Whether Tiffany was on the phone with Johnny or not when the intruders were there, the crime had to have taken some time.
THEY WERE READING CENTRAL SECURITY DOCUMENTS, FOR GOODNESS SAKES.
The method of murder was not a gun shot, it was a slow suffocation.
They ransacked the hell out of the master bedroom.
They knew they could be in there for some time...like a guaranteed two hours, let's say. I think Tiffany was involved, was the "lookout", was the alibi, was the way in, was the connection!
great minds think alike cos I was thinking the same thing !

I think whoever it was, was already in the house. I've been through that neighborhood, and I've read comments from neighbors of theirs that said people in that neighborhood are nosey. If they were yelling back and forth at each other outside, wouldn't someone have heard it?
I just posted a link over on the other thread I'll also post it here. This is the 1st time I've read this longer transcript from the Nancy Grace show where Jim Verbosky (sp?) Lisas uncle was on. This transcript hits on cellphone pings & also states that Lisas car was in the driveway, Hate to bring that debate back up because I thought we had it all settled that the car was in the garage but her car being in the driveway is mentioned several times.

Below is the Nancy Grace transcript, for the interview with Lisa Strub's Uncle (Mr Verbosky) As of this interview, he says the Straub's have been talking to local LE & FBI, daily. He also says he "believes the car was in the driveway"... And since there were no fresh footprints in the snow, anywhere around the home, that's how they figure the perps got in, via the garage door, that leads into the home. He says the driveway was clear, & so were the roads. He even states the garage door would have been up.
From that transcript, just so everyone is clear on the name:
I get a phone call about a half an hour ago from his friend Sherita that some girl named Tiffany called her saying that Johnny and Lisa were supposed to pick her up at 11:00...
So, where is Sherita in all of the FB friends lists?

Alright, I'll give you that, it's a valid statement but, why? Why are they so concerned? I've not responded to text & my ringing BB many times. I've also pretended to not be home while my vehicle has been sitting in the circle. Why is Maytee freakin' out?
Lisa's car was in the garage. According to the Detective in front of the News cameras on the first day of the investigation. I quote Lady Cop in her opening dialogue on page 1.
- Lady Cop - 02-01-2011 01:26 PM
She said Mr. Clarke had picked up Miss Straub from work Sunday. The two "had plans with someone earlier in the evening," the detective said, but had not shown up and had not called to say they wouldn't be there.
Miss Straub's car was in the garage, and it did not appear they had gone out at all that evening, she said.
I would like to know one FACT was the car in the driveway or in the garage
god if we can't get this right how can we get anything right lol!!
I know!!! Even though Maytee & Tiffany say it was in the driveway, Stooksbury said "in the garage" .. I'm going with LE
Perhaps the car was moved from the time Tiffany visited and the police
arrived. (Remember - lights were on, then off.)
I've been reading some transcripts. How does the male caller know this was planned & "they" went to the house with tape & bags?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Whoever did do this...
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Needs to pay!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: ... they planned it. They planned it because they went to that house with tape and bags. I hope and pray the cops find them before I do!
I remember that. Johnny's dad. Can't recall what it was on (news clip, I guess). I can see why he would say that because finding Johnny & Lisa in that condition, it would seem, would look so DELIBERATE. It's been my feeling all along that this was premeditated murder and I think the perps brought the tape.
If you found a family member (CHILD) in that position, would you even
think of where the duct tape and bags came from?

Then she states that she then drove back home to see if Johnny/Lisa are at Tiffs house since they were going to pick her up in the first place. Well if she rang the door bell, certainly she would know if Lisa's car was in the drive way. And if Lisa's car is in the drive way, Tiff wouldn't have went back home to see if Johnny/lisa drove to tiff's because Lisa's car is still in the drive way with lights on in the house. Hello?? Tiffany was in on this
Am I wrong here, or is the garage off to the side and back of the house?
So Tiff would have to ring the front door bell and walk to the front of the
house if she indeed peeked through little windows. HOWEVER, if there
is a door inside the garage or on the back of the home (since it has a
pool, it might have a back outside door) = which bell did she ring? How
much walking around did she do? And hey - what about the two
trips the four detectives made? WERE NONE OF THEM TALL ENOUGH
TO LOOK IN WINDOWS:? I say "yes" and I say the KNOWLEDGE OF
the 'bodies' came from someone who was in the place before any
phone calls to anyone.

We all thought the car was in the garage because that's what the detective stated to God & everybody, right from the horse's mouth on channel whateverthefuck it was, now the uncle says it was in the driveway.
Is there anyone connected to this story who knows where Lisa's car was? One would think that would be pretty fuckin' easy to answer. We have family & police contradicting each other.

This is really baffling .... Tiff supposedly called Johnny's best friend's girlfriend first (Sherita/Shareda/Sharita/?), who wouldn't give her Maytee's number - can that be true? and if it is, why wouldn't she give her the number? Tiff can't be given the number for some unknown reason so Maytee has to find out from someone else indirectly, yet John Sr asks Tiff to drive him to the house. Why did he do that? How did he know her friend's mom would be home from work by then and she would have access to a car? Doesn't he have a car himself? How well did Tiff and Johnny's parents know each other? And how did they know each other? Were they friends, or only casual acquaintances - if so, how? Also, who was Johnny's best friend? I thought Ruben or Reuben was his name, but why hasn't his name come up again since?
1. why wouldn't she give her the number? I've had people call me & ask for a someones #. I don't give it out until I check with the the person who's # is being requested.
2. yet John Sr asks Tiff to drive him to the house. Why did he do that? Per Tiffanys testimony, after sharita calls Maytee, John Sr. calls Tiffany. Tiffany rehashes the story, tells John Sr she's going back by there & asks if he wants a ride. He accepts.
3. How did he know her friend's mom would be home from work by then and she would have access to a car? She was already out driving around. Per Tiffanys testimony, she had already been over to the Straubs to check out the scene before calling anyone to alert them of anything.
4. Doesn't he have a car himself? I cannot confirm nor deny that I've heard something about them having a van somewhere in this thread... I don't know where.
5. How well did Tiff and Johnny's parents know each other? And how did they know each other? Were they friends, or only casual acquaintances - if so, how? It sounded to me as if they did not know eachother prior to this incident.
6. who was Johnny's best friend? I've heard Rueben. I tried to look him up on FB after Ruebens mom posted on JCs online funeral registry but did not find any match. Apparently not everyone in the city has a FB. Same goes for a Sharita, nothing. I also used various spellings.
Freshbait, got a question i would like your input on. I feel tiff is in a "a few good men" logic loop. As a reminder of the movie nicholson's character says the victim was in danger, and that men take matters into their own hands, then later says that no one would defy his own order to not touch the victim. Applying this to our case here we have two options:
1) If we believe tiff heard johnny yelling and fighting with someone while she was on the phone then why go over there like shes going to save the day (wonder woman?) and why wait 2 fucking hours to get some real help about it.
2) if we believe tiff heard johnny casually say "I will call you back" then why the need to panick. they arent answering phones, so what.! so your going to drive 20 minutes to see why.? maybe they just decided to do something else and didn't want to include her. They arent answering the door, again so what. they didn't go back to your house, so what. these things don't then require someone to raise the alarm and wake everyone up to go over there and kick in doors. these things alone aren't indicators of foul play. hence why cops didn't enter the residence. Everyone starts to panick b/c a call isn't answered in the middle of the night.? shit they could have just been sleeping and turned off the ringer/ phone.
This goes back to my first gut reaction, someone who was trying to get help for the victims knew of a real danger, something beyond just missed phone calls, something beyond what was on the surface, to start reacting to a phone call ignored. my question is, what could that real know imminent danger be? or is it all a bs set up with fake phone calls etc.
Thus the bullshit logic loop. It doesn't seem it can really be option 1 or 2. it doesn't seem to make a bit of logical sense and when you go back and forth between options 1 and 2 you realize that at some point in this narrative there is a point where the story crumbles. your thought?
