Usually blood and wounds are a sign of a fight and yet Lisa was the bloody one. Because she fought harder? Nope.
Were the intruders either punishing Johnny (maybe for not paying back a drug debt or snitching or something) by making him watch them hurting, raping, etc. Lisa OR were they doing these things to Lisa to get Johnny to talk and give them information about something (where a safe is, what the combination is, where drugs are, the list could go on and on)?
that's exactly how I think it went down, IF it's true, that Lisa was injured much worse than Johnny. We've heard 3 rumors of what might have happened to Lisa. Raped, hit with a baseball bat, & her tongue being injured in some way ... I think the rumor may very well be true, that Johnny had bragged about a safe being in the home.
I think its possible there really was safe in the house, that the perpes were able to force JC or LS to provide info for the perps to empty it. And the Dinars were the booty and some Dinars were dropped as they were removed from the safe and and possibly a few were dropped thru the house as the perpes made an exit. Could explain why Dinars were taken as evidence, the few that remained, possibly providing fingure prints or a serial number sequence to reseach if Dinars surfaced at a money brokerage house.
There was no safe.
zero... that thought has crossed my mind a few times. i know that the uncle reported that there was not a safe in the house and he is seemingly a reliable source. the only reason i can think for him to announce there wasn't a safe if there really was is maybe to get someone to open their big mouth... you know
"naw man... those bytches be lian. we busted the shyt out that safe."
i don't know... i guess always a possibility... maybe far fetched though.
p.s. how was my first attempt at ghetto talk?

Could the bags have been put on and Tiff told to get someone to
take them off while they were still alive or do you think the perps
wanted them dead? I don't think the perps put much thought into preserving a happy ending for Johnny and Lisa. The tape was only for the purpose of killing them. If you throw your loot and drugs into a bag, you don't tape the bag shut. You just carry it out.
Tightly taped bags and tied hands indicates to me that the perps didn't care if they died at best and deliberately wanted them dead at worst. But it has occurred to me that Tiff may have thought there was a chance they could be saved when she raised the alarm, and even that it may have been part of the reason she offered to drive John Sr to the house.

i agree... i don't think they wanted them to live or be found alive. they could have left them in a way that assured they would live if that was the case rather than counting on someone finding them before they died or sending someone (tiff) back to the house to "save" them. it's way too complicated.
for example... if they wanted them to live but not see their faces they could have used blindfolds vs. bags. if they wanted them to live after they used the bags to scare the shit out of them they could have ripped holes in the backs of the bag right before they took off... something to that effect... JMO.

I never thought of blindfolds, but you're right - the bags and the tape around them must mean they were meant to die. But a part of me thinks that when Tiff was told about what had gone down (say when she picked them up or when they were concocting their alibis), SHE may have thought they had a fighting chance because she hadn't been in the house and seen them for herself. Maybe I'm giving her credit for having a small piece of a heart that night, I don't know....

I agree with you except for one small part. I do think Tiffany was in the house at some point. Here's why... On the very 1 st 911 call Maytee says that Tiffany told her the house was ransacked & she repeats that again numerous times in retelling what Tiffany told her. Well here at Mock Tiffany says that's a lie, however I don't see her as a trustworthy person & what a cawinkydink that the house is indeed ransacked, just not where Maytee said Tiffany told her.... the kitchen cabinets were open & the house looked ransacked. It's my belief that Tiffany slipped on that one. As soon as I heard that it was the upstairs bedrooms that had been ransacked I thought, Hmmmm now how did the word ransacking come up before anyone had entered the house? Maytee said Tiffany told her that & if that's true how did Tiffany see the condition of the upstairs from the outside/ground floor?

I wonder if the neighbors' of the Straub's have seen police bring any
suspicious characters to the house to identify "Which doorbell did you
ring? What small window did you look through? What cupboard was
open?"
As well as
"Which window did you look through? How did you lift the person up?"

The way the bags and Duct Tape was uesd on JC and LS was defenately "TO KILL"...If I can locate the Video of Maytee gesturung with her hands as she explained the wrapping of the tape around their heads I see her motioning as if the bag in place was wrapped tightly by tape not just to secure the bag to their necks but it was wrapped repeatedly around their heads. She also says tape ina bag or something like that was left next to the bodies.

Maybe Tiff said it looked ransacked because she was trying to get somebody out there quickly and thought it was still possible to save them.

On the very 1st 911 call Maytee says that Tiffany told her the house was ransacked & she repeats that again numerous times in retelling what Tiffany told her. Maytee said Tiffany told her that & if that's true how did Tiffany see the condition of the upstairs from the outside/ground floor?

for example... if they wanted them to live but not see their faces they could have used blindfolds vs. bags. if they wanted them to live after they used the bags to scare the shit out of them they could have ripped holes in the backs of the bag right before they took off... something to that effect... Or was Tiffany genuinely concerned and called Serita (sp) who knew
the perpetrators and called them and knew the state of the house and
then called Maytee?
Maybe Tiff said it looked ransacked because she was trying to get somebody out there quickly and thought it was still possible to save them.
@ One for the road... the story is still the same, she was at one point in the house to see it ransacked if that's the case. & It's not a step in & Oh shit look what I've found. The house was ransacked upstairs.
@ Just Curious..... I'm sorry but I think that's stretching it too far. Tiffany just happens to call the one person who was in on the set up & knew what happened to tell her she thought something was wrong & it wasn't Tiffany that mentioned a ransacking but Sharita? I'm not buying that.
