uggh I feel like I need to take a shower now.

p.s. no offense to anyone from Toledo here. I bet those that come to this site do NOT look like the trash I'm seeing on FB... Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

I was looking through them as well and I had to stop because they are so trashy and nasty I couldn't take it any longer. I swear Toledo is a fucking world of its own.. I have never seen a place where everyone knows everyone and are some how all connected to each other and could all be so nasty and dirty... Its crazy!

Theres a very large difference between the different parts of Toledo. The East side as well as the South side are the unsavory and hood parts of the town, but Toledo as a whole is a very nice place, which made this murder especially shocking to the community. Holland is a VERY nice part of town, which is why I've always believed that the connections to these people have been through Johnny, not Lisa.

Bond set at $5 million for Cameo.

Bond was set at $5 million for the second suspect in the double murder of a young couple in Springfield Township.

During a video arraignment Tuesday afternoon in Sylvania Municipal Court, Cameo Pettaway, 22, was arraigned on two counts of murder and one count of aggravated burglary in the deaths of Lisa Straub and Johnny Clarke. Their bodies, bound with duct tape and with plastic bags over their heads, were found Jan. 31 in the home of Miss Straub’s parents in Springfield Township.

Judge M. Scott Ramey set a bond of $2 million on each of the murder counts and $1 million on the burglary count.

Pettaway told the judge he could not afford an attorney and wanted one appointed for him. The judge continued Tuesday’s court appearance until Wednesday at 10 a.m. so a court-appointed attorney could be named.

Clarke’s mother and grandparents were in the courtroom and sobbed during the proceedings but declined to comment afterwards.

Pettaway is the second man charged in the double murder. Samuel Williams, 24, of 1626 Kelsey Ave., was charged on Sept. 22 with two counts of aggravated murder and murder. He pleaded not guilty to those charged as well as one count each of kidnapping and aggravated burglary. His trial is set for Jan. 18 in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. He faces the death penalty if convicted.

I can't get the link to work, but here is a link to Toledo Blade, it's on the front page, for now.

So let's see, he's not paying to support his 5 children, he flashes stacks and stacks of cash "$5500 in a day" and he can't afford an attorney? Makes perfect sense!

ETA: regarding Maytee not talking. I bet you she's going through serious withdrawals. Itching to talk to the media, to spread her word (aka nonsense).

assuming he does have all that cash, by law he can't use it if it's drug money. he has to prove where it came from. somehow i don't think he got it from his job at McDonald's.

Thanks for that info LC. I didn't realize people had to prove where they got the money from. According to his mother in an interview with the Toledo Blade, "Mrs. Baker said she was not aware of her son's current employment." I can only assume this means he has no legal job!

Toledo's finest.

My guess was he spread 2 twenties out, and those are a bunch of ones underneath! With his crowd of friends that think that robbing people at parties like its some kind of party favor, is he not worried showing off this type of cash? I am betting that is 40 bucks covering a bunch of George Washingtons!

I LOVE God, but his fan club scares the shit out of me!!!

thankyou!

Kenyatta Baker of East Toledo, Mr. Pettaway's mother, said her son and Mr. Williams, also of East Toledo, grew up together and the two are "very close friends."

"Cameo was shocked about Sam's arrest," she said.

Mr. Pettaway, who did not graduate from high school, has five children with three women. He was 14 when his first child, a girl, was born, Mrs. Baker said. His youngest child is 6 months old.

GO under his pictures, there is a picture of him without a shirt and comments made on January 29th
