The interview for the two brothers of Lisa Irwin has been cancelled until further notice. It seems to have something to do with the attorneys for the family. Other than that, it was just added as Breaking News on KMBC at the start of our 10pm news.

Today’s planned interviews of Lisa Irwin’s two brothers has been postponed.

It may never happen now, because the case took a bizarre turn late Thursday as two attorneys for the family appeared to be in open conflict.

Kansas City attorney Cyndy Short said she had heard reports that New York lawyer Joe Tacopina had fired her from the case.

“He’s not in a position to fire anyone,” Short told The Star. “I work for the client, not him.”

Police told The Star’s reporting partner, KCTV-5, that Tacopina indicated the much-anticipated interviews with the brothers might happen next week.

Tacopina declined comment to The Star.

But Short said that if she has her way, the interviews with the brothers, ages 8 and 5, would likely never happen — for the sake of the boys and the case. The brothers were interviewed earlier, and she’s worried about additional trauma to them.

ABC News is reporting that Kansas City attorney Cyndy Short is no longer representing the parents of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin.

ABC News reported on Friday morning that Short was forced off the case overnight. No other details were released.

Interesting twist. I thought Taco needed a local attorney on the case, because he is not licensed to practice in the state.

Cyndy Short, a Kansas City area attorney, is no longer representing the parents of missing baby Lisa Irwin.

Sources tell KCTV5 that Short was forced off the case Thursday. It is unclear Friday whether that came at the direction of Joe Tacopina, a New York attorney.

Tacopina joined the case last week.

Neither Short or Tacopina have responded to repeated requests for comment. Short has not arrived to her Kansas City office as of 9 a.m. Friday.

KCTV5's Jeanene Kiesling asked baby Lisa's parents, Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, about Short no longer representing them when they returned to a relative's home Thursday night.

"This is the first I've heard of it," Bradley replied. "You know as much as I do."

John Walsh, host of America's Most Wanted and father of Adam Walsh, who was kidnapped and murdered 30 years ago, says that the family's refusal to work with the media worries him."It bothers me when people don't do interviews, said Walsh. "Trust me, when your child is missing, I said it many times, if Adam's kidnapper... I would have stood in Times Square naked and took a bullet and do every interview to trade my life for that little boy's life."



Now this is how you act when your child is kidknapped!

This isn't about a kidnapping, or finding Baby Lisa alive. Deborah killed Lisa and Jeremy is helping to cover it up. If this was about Lisa, the parents would have had the boys in being interviewed by professionals to get any memories of sounds heard and anything they might have seen. Honestly how much trauma is it for the boys to tell what they saw and heard? They've already experienced it and it may do them some good to be able to tell someone what they know. LE isn't going to be shining bright lights on the boys, yelling at them or traumatizing them-they have experts in interviewing children that can get the info with minimal mental discomfort to the boys.

Deborah needs to come clean now. Tell LE where they can find Lisa. Put an end to this. She can have Taco make her a deal to plead to involuntary manslaughter with minimum time served and probation. It's time to end this, give Lisa a proper burial (or whatever rites the family chooses) and move on. This has gone on long enough and the only people concerned about Baby Lisa are LE and the American public.

I know the girl is dead. The point was they still say she's been kidnapped. When I think everyone has it figured out already. I don't think they murdered her, but they accidently killed the little girl and the sick ass family threw her away liked yesterday's trash. I agree the need to come clean about what happened.

I try to follow the "innocent until proven guilty" principal but I'm done in this case. These people are lyiing pieces of shit and they've acted completely contrary to how an innocent parent would act.

Guilty! I only hope they find her body soon and, unlike Casey, justice is served.

Me too on everything you said. I really hope they find the body quick! The more time the less evidence. To me anyone that can just throw their child away like that makes them just as much scum as a murderer.

deborah bradley is lucky she does not live in orlando. We need another casey anthony witch hunt to take place in front of their home.

This is a super strange story/situation at several levels. Suppose that indeed, the parents (or mother) accidentally killed the baby and panicked, then frantically tried to hide the little one, with all the horrendous implications about the broken character of such a human being.

First, one can tell that this family (well, cohabiting people) are not exactly sophisticated, fast-thinkers. Then how on earth were they able to devise a smart plan and execute it so quickly, especially with her being highly inebriated? After all, the police/FBI have not found the baby, so whatever this family did to hide the poor little one's body, they did it super well. ("Well" is not quite fitting, of course!) But anyway, they do not seem to be the kinds of people who are up to doing this so well, and erasing all of their traces to such a degree!

Secondly, and related, suppose (far fetched, gruesome, ah!) that they did put the little one's body in the dumpster that was mentioned often in the news, added whatever combustion accelerator the media is referring to, and set the thing on fire, so that no remains are ever to be found. If so, how could they come up with such a thing fast, in the middle of the night--even, say evening? It does not seem that these are the sorts of people who would have the intellectual ability to gather fast and reliable knowledge about how/where to look for whatever substances combust bodies! Or, to find such substances, use them, and get rid of any evidence! Goodness, what a thought to start with.

And thirdly, the whole business of their expensive legal representation is odd. Who would be _interested_ to pay for the services of a hyper-costly lawyer in NYC (!), only to create a defense for what appears to be potentially horrendous? One might suggest: well, the media. The media could pay for the attorney in exchange of access to the couple, to their story, and in co-production with the self-interest of the fame-hungry lawyer. But something does not add up. The TV networks or other media may well be ethically flawed, but they would likely not pay for what seems to be a high caliber legal effort to cover (or throw doubt into) evidence. So, who would have both an interest and the requisite wealth to pay for this? Possibly the same person/institution who is offering the $100,000 recompense? But that is a recompense for _finding_ the baby. Yet the legal effort seems to a reasonable observer to be aiming at _not finding_ the baby. Then again, who's behind all this?

Incidentally, recall that when the mother was asked this morning how come the local lawyer was not representing them any more, she answered something like "this is news to me!" (approximate quote). Something in the phrasing of the answer seemed authentic to me, so whatever lawyer transactions occurred, seemed to have happened over these people's heads.

Ok, my two cents.

KMBC 9 news just reported. Wild BS is back in town and as soon as he showed up at the families house, DB and JI left with pillows and blankets. They are not staying at the family members home now.



So do you think the family is starting to question their bullshit?

Private Investigator Returns, Baby Lisa’s Family Leaves

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Moments after private investigator Bill Stanton returned to Kansas City to see the family of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin, the family left a relative’s home in a convoy of vehicles with Stanton.

Stanton returned to the home on North Walrond Ave. just before 10 p.m. Shortly after arriving he left with the family in a convoy of at least four vehicles.

Their destination was not know.

Stanton's appearance came hours after Kansas City attorney Cyndy Short confirmed that she was no longer representing baby Lisa's parents. It appeared their only representation was Joe Tacopina out of New York.

They're leaving so LE can't interview the boys. Could the attorneys have been prepping the boys for their interviews when one of them said something that implicates their parents?

One of the things another member on here questioned was when the last time anyone besides Jeremy and Deborah saw baby Lisa alive.

It's a possibility that something happened before October 4^th, and the being drunk/house robbery thing was a complete set up from the start.

One thing that really peaked my interest was the whole 'bedroom rug' scenario. LE took that big rolled up rug out of the shed, but no other info was released about it. Then there is the 'cadaver dog' hitting on the rug in the bedroom~but the rug in the bedroom looks as if it's been replaced recently.

I know dogs have a really strong sense of smell, is it possible that the dog hit on a scent from the floor underneath the rug?
