Your right... It all seems suspicious.
Your right this does sound hokey.
"Seeming Suspicious" and "Sounding Hokey" are bigger threats than than the actual allegations.
This is what is known as "Unconscionable".
"Unconscionable" adjective- atrocious, blackguard, completely unreasonable, conniving, conscienceless, corrupt, criminal, designing, dishonest, dishonorable, excessive, exorbitant, extreme, grievous, grossly unjust, immoderate, impermissible, indefensible, inequitable, inexcusable, inexpiable, inordinate, intemperate, intriguing, knavish, monstrous, outrageous, preposterous, rascally, reprehensible, tricky, unbalanced, undue, unequal, unethical, unfair, unforgivable, unjust, unjustifiable, unprincipled, unreasonable, unscrupulous, wrong
Unconscionable things are things that are so far removed from from that considered rational that they are considered to be beyond the rational minds ability to comprehend.
It is easier for everyone to question the allegations themselves than the fact the Unconscionable event actually took place in the terms specified.
It is comprehensible to hear a story whereas the story teller tells of his house burning to the ground and not having insurance whereas it is
incomprehensible to believe that law enforcement employees can use the power of its organizational attributes to pull off what to the victim has the same effect as the fire.
I would imagine had this not happened to me, that I would also believe there to be a part of the story intentionally concealed to garner sympathy. Even though this did happen to my family it is hard to believe and trust me when I say that the comments here actually reflect the majority.
If I were a praying man, I would pray that no family ever have to deal with that which is Unconscionable. It is almost as if I have asked the readers of this thread to believe me when I say that the moon in the sky is actually flat.
Most end up being like Mr. Insightless... just easier right?
