I want to explain my last post. A few months ago the Blade changed their policy for making comments about their articles. Has not gone over very well. Almost everyone interviewed by detectives mentioned the safe. Johnny had been bragging. It is assumed that this was passed on to Sam & Cam.

Jim Verbosky knew, because the police asked him when he got to the station, because Maytee had gone on and on about the safe. I believe
it was in one of the very first quotes that the Blade posted from
Jim Verbosky. If I remember correctly, Maytee also asked as soon as she
saw Jim Verbosky at the police station, as well.

Omg...I really thought theyd give him the death penalty. Wow.
Either way, he will leave that prison in a box. I just hate that Ohioans
(including the Clarkes and Straubs) will have to pay the taxes that keep
this man fed, housed, dressed...for all those years. That part disgusts me...
and is a cruel punishment to Lisa and Johnny's loved ones.

Did these people testify? How did Verbosky know this immediately? I consider is speculation, unless I see documentation to the contrary. Again, the mythical safe is not a known motive, regardless.

What is on the official record, however is ... 1. Johnny said "who the f are you" to his killers and 2. AC never introduced her "friends" Sam/Cam to either victim. According to testimony, both Johnny and Lisa were unknown to their killers. Both Johnny and Lisa were known to AC, TW and other friends of the killers.
