While I've smoked a little pot in my life, I've never touched cocaine. Haven't wanted to for fear of what my addictive personality would do.

I did watch a buddy of mine, who like me had never done it, suddenly get hooked on it in his mid-30's. Ugly.

I have no desire to do any coke. Or smoke pot for that matter. I rarely drink either. I guess being married to a multiple substance abuser kinda turned me off.

I try to be a hands off kind of manager, I figure I hire good talented smart people, treat them fair and they will do what they are supposed to do. If they want a lil bump on the weekends, burn a fattie, I have no issue with that at all. But, when it comes in here and I have to deal with it, especially if it crosses a safety line, or endangers my job or reputation, THEN I have a big problem with it.
There is no way in hell these guys can do this job correctly and safely anything but sober and awake.

This stuff is called Dope for a reason, it makes you stupid. You do stupid shit, talk to much, scrub the living fuk out of the bathtub, drive to fast, drop stuff, leave out details.....
The guy I have has the attention span of a gnat, makes lots of mistakes, takes to many shortcuts, has way to much unaccounted for time, makes bad decicions that are expensive and in general requirres to much babysitting. Coke head, the bag explained a lot

It's a different high. I liked the buzz from cocaine the few times I've done it, but not from pot. I didn't like it enough, however, to go all ape shit on it, sell everything I own and end up in a rehab somewhere. The shit isn't that great .

I enjoyed coke when I did it but I hated the fact that I couldn't shut it off and go to sleep when I wanted to.

I think it would be different if it was marijuana. But cocaine is a hard drug. He could be mixed up in all sorts of other stuff and the police are looking for him etc. Maybe it's a location thing, but it would be highly unusual here in Oz to see someone drop a bag, let alone see that stuff at all. Not saying it's not here in Oz, I am sure it is, I have never seen it.

If it had been more than a dime bag I would have called the cops. Turns out, this guy just passed his drug test, aparently went right out and made a buy. Happens all the time out here, folks finding drugs. Couple yrs ago I found part of a K on the beach, dropped it in the trash.
