That Hoarder show has a morbid appeal to it. You can't look away, even though you want to.

It was difficult simply reading about it, I don't think I could have watched the Shanna episode, the written descriptions were so vivid to me that I was close to gagging and just thinking about it makes my throat start to close up. That shit was just awful.

I have a lot of difficulty with gross in any way, shape or form. The one & only thing that stopped me from auditioning for Survivor several years ago was knowing I'd be compelled to eat maggots or something equally as disgusting. I knew I could handle roughin' it & going hungry but the gross bs kept me from even trying.

I have no interest in that kind of bizarro crap. Some friends of mine were talking about it years ago and laughing about it. I mentioned I hadn't seen it and they started describing it with the obligatory 'you have to watch it!' Being said a dozen times.. I looked at them like WTF?

Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with some of my friends.

The only thing I have been watching for the past few months has been the news and the Rifleman......For 3 months now I have watched 2 episodes a day give or take a few days here and there and have yet to see a repeat. Everything else is stupid. Go Go Lucas!

I don't know why I watch it occasionally. Seriously, it's like watching Cops or something. I'm appalled and disgusted but somewhat fascinated that there are people out there who REALLY live that way. Hard to fathom.

Every time I see the commercials for that hoarder show, I feel like throwing something in the trash. Anything. If I actually watched an episode, the kids would probably come home to no furniture haha!

I hate clutter. I see something in a store and think, oh I like that, and then the 'where will I keep it?' kicks in and I think fuck it and keep walking.
