I'm aware of what the enemy sometimes does to the bodies of dead soldiers. I've seen them dragged through the streets and hung from bridges and I know they will behead a prisoner without a second thought. I know they use fear to rule and to intimidate.

When the war first started I was way more naive than I am now.

Peeing on a dead body is tacky and disrespectful. Not that those barbarians deserve our respect. But acting that way only makes the US look bad. It lowers us to their level. Our solders should conduct themselves with more class.

It pissed me right off watching British troops beating the crap out of Afghan prisoners who were restrained so couldn't even put their arms up to try and defend themselves.

I don't think it's even logical to be looking for respect & good manners in a war zone. There is no place for couth & decorum in war.
