NFL 2014
I know we play the Bills this weekend, have known for weeks. But in my sleep and zombie moments, I keep having this anxious feeling that Dallas are going to kick our ass this weekend..

Are you projecting some freaky kind of voodoo shit, Boss Lady?

If I could project some freaky voodoo bullshit I surely wouldn't waste it on football.

Meh.. you pretty much sink them all over the park apart from rush yards, and I don't see that being a solid strategy for them. I think the Pats have flipper's number unless my kiss of death is more venomous than the Spy guy's..

The Dolphins are a funny team.

They win when not expected and then choke all their meaningful games (see: last Sunday vs. Baltimore).

Lowered expectations this week. I'd take the Fish plus the points.

As for the Pack, this reminds me of their game in KC a few years back when they were undefeated (I believe?) late in the season. The Chiefs were solid defensively and almost hung a donut on GB.

Give me Buffalo and the points.

I'm looking forward to your "I'm granting wishes" Christmas thread.

Gotta hone my wish list first though.

P.s. I wouldn't mind having a little Richard Sherman voodoo doll to clutch on Sunday. I probably wouldn't prick it or anything, I just think it would be kinda cool to have him in the palm of my hand (it might make a nifty stocking-stuffer key chain or roach clip actually).

This sucks for him personally and has gotta suck for the Panthers.

Today, he was reportedly t-boned while driving his truck and collided with another car right in front of the Bank of America Stadium where the Panthers play.

He's in the hospital with two transverse process fractures in his lower back and no further internal injuries.

The injury suffered to Newton is the same back injury that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered earlier this season. Romo missed one game this season for the injury, however no timetable was given for how long Newton will be out, if at all.

*in his best sportscaster voice* Another turnover by Cam Newton. Once again Newton failed to complete the drive.

That fills me with fear and if you knew what some people wished for you would be filled with fear too.

Why, is someone wishing bad voodoo against me and you?

If so, we can tackle and sack 'em!

I know we can. 55 55

Richard Sherman is arguably the smartest defensive player in the NFL. Most can't stand his arrogance (except Seahawks fans) but I gotta give him his props.

He's an absolute shutdown corner. To me he's not as good as Deion Sanders was, but the way he can stare down a QB while staying in the vicinity of his man, and then react accordingly, is fun to watch.

For a kid from South Central LA, he's done pretty well for himself, first getting into Stanford and now basically the best DB in the league.

He talked shit about my team and he's not the only one on that team who did, then he left Shady his game jersey. I don't like him simply because of that. Can't stand Aaron Rogers either. Smug little fuck, I'd like to give him a slap.

Yeah, they are fun to watch especially in Foxboro. Division champs today as they went fishing and reeled in a big one. Smiley_emoticons_hurra3

^ Congrats, Mags. I'm not a fan of the Pats (only because they've been so good for so long), but I know they're your club so I'm happy for you.

And, right now, I'd be hard-pressed to think of a team that could beat them on a neutral field.
