We are very close to signing LB Nigel Bradham to a 5 year deal so that we can shop Mychal Kendricks.

Hey MS, I have an opinion on what the Vikings did to that kid that took you to the playoffs. Grrrrrr.

He played his ass off, no doubt.

Courage, leadership, moxie, he has all of it.

What he doesn’t have is a big enough arm or a big enough body of work to sign him long term.

The Broncos are giving him 1 year/$18M.

A very nice pay day and he earned every penny.

I wish him well and will follow him closely.

Right. He will be making life-changing $$$.

Vikings have officially signed Cousins.

My 24 year old son is ecstatic and says this will be an upgrade over Keenum.

Now, we need to address both lines in the draft.

What I heard reported was wrong.

Keenum is getting 2 years/$36M, of which $25M is guaranteed.

Wow!

We knew that was going to happen and without taking anything away from the guy that play has been run successfully in practice with nearly every receiver on the roster. Foles and Wentz both have good hands good hands. Celek is leaving and while i'm certain he will return to retire as an Eagle, i'm sad to see that man go. Conner Barwin is available atm. Wouldn't mind seeing him back on our roster either but I doubt that will happen. We're pretty deep at LB right now.

I think Cousins is a fine QB. I worried every time we played him, maybe that doesn't mean anything actually, I never underestimate anyone. Noooo.

Cousins was one of just a couple QB’s last year that had any success against the Eagles (Eli had some decent numbers as did Russell Wilson).

So, we’ll see how this ends up.

If he doesn’t choose the Vikes he’ll end up with the Jets (which I don’t think he really wants to do).
Jets got Bridgewater didn't they?

Teddy going to the Jets.

He was another kid I really admired.

Humble, great work ethic, teammates love him.

Throwing motion not so great, but tough and smart.

He was put in a pressure spot against the Seahawks in a Wild Card game, January 2015.

We were down a point with less than 2 minutes and he needed to move the team down the field for a score.

He did exactly that, throwing 2 great balls to Kyle Rudolph with Kam Chancellor all over him.

We settled for a FG attempt from the 9 yard line.

A converted 26 yard FG and we’re moving on.

Blair Walsh duck-hooked it and that was really Teddy’s last meaningful moment in a Vikings uniform.

I hope he bounces back from his knee surgery and can have a meaningful career.

At his age, he shouldn't have an issue at all. The knee surgeries now days are way less invasive. Teddy will be fine.

Unfortunately, his knee injury wasn’t just your run of the mill torn ACL.

His entire knee essentially came apart.

That’s why the Vikes gave up on him. They’re not confident he’ll ever be the way he was.

If that's the case he will be coming back home to Minny. The trade will be null and void if he doesn't pass the sports physical.

He was a free agent.
