ANOTHER SCHOOL/PUBLIC SHOOTING
I really wish all these fucked up individuals would take out themselves rather than innocent bystanders.

Recently, I've noticed that they seem to be taking themselves out less frequently after-the-fact.

In the past, mass shooters would almost always kill themselves when law enforcement was closing in on them. Now, they're surrendering or attempting escape more often, in my observation.

It has me wondering if that's because they want to live to experience the more widespread notoriety, or if the fact that hate/condemnation of others has become more socially mainstreamed from top down that 'shame' is no longer a consideration, or what.

7 miles from my grand babies, yesterday was not a good day. Thank God none of them or their friends in that school were hurt.
Hard to believe 20 years and 3 weeks after Columbine that Nothing has been done to make the schools safer especially given that there are so many nutters out there. No controlled entry points, no metal detectors....nothing

Hi, Six! It's so nice to see you.

I'm happy it wasn't your grandchildren's school and you don't have to go through what the other families are. I just read a quote from Kendrick's dad, "My wife and I are in a haze". "He was everything to us". It's so sad and awful. He was their only child  :(

This shit should be an embarrassment for our entire country.

Yes it should and is mostly.
FB morons got nothing more to add other than to try and make fun of my religious opinions on the matter and a half assed swipe at the military about being killers.
Mostly positive support though

Huh? FB morons, making fun of your religion & half assed swipes at military being killers? Did I miss an entire conversation?

Sorry, no. I was just not very clear.
I posted in there that the shooting is because of godless homes and godless schools and the complete failure of parents to force the school systems to do something about securing the schools.

Another of the trio of STEM students who are being credited for tackling one of the shooters, therein giving other students in the classroom a chance to hide and/or run, has been identified as Brendan Bialy.

[Image: 13246930-7006221-image-a-5_1557324578736.jpg]

^ Bialy is an aspiring marine and being hailed a hero by law enforcement and his classmates.

According to the latest reports, there was no Resource Officer at the school because the administrators had instead opted for private security.

I suspect we'll be learning soon enough how the teen shooters obtained their guns and how they were able to get three guns and ammo into the school without detection.

Well it is kind of an insult to the millions of people who raise well adjusted children with the absence of religion and God in their home and do not want it being forced on them in public schools. How many of these crazy people had to go to church as kids and read the bible, I'm betting many of them.

God doesn't have anything to do with these shootings. That's not how it works.

No matter what there will always be someone, anyone out there that will disagree on any subject no matter what it is. It's an internet curse and we all have to accept it because nobody is the same. The one reality is everyone has an opinion and that is the truth. It does not make anything right or wrong.

The juvenile student shooter has now been identified as Alec McKinney, birth name Maya McKinney, pictured below on the left and upper right (with his partner in crime Devon Erickson).

[Image: 13274036-0-image-a-32_1557368629545.jpg]

McKinney’s lawyer informed the court today that the defendant prefers to be referred to by the pronoun “he”.

Friends of the shooters contend that neither is evil, but instead that they did not get the support and mental health assistance they needed at a school where bullying is rampant, which pushed them over the edge into doing something indefensible.

Yes, I realize they identify as male however... you don't hear about female shooters very often.

Colorado - STEM Charter School Highlands Ranch; Update

--Both of the suspected shooters are being held without bond.  They have each been charged with murder and several counts of attempted murder.

--The juvenile suspect Alec/Maya McKinney , 16, is being charged as an adult.

--The pistols they used to shoot their fellow students were reportedly stolen from the parents of the 18-year-old suspect, Devon Erickson.

--The third male student credited with subduing one of the shooters has been identified as 18-year-old Joshua Jones (pictured above).  Joshua was shot twice in the leg.  He says he's recovering well physically, but it's slower going emotionally.  He called his mom while he had one of the shooters pinned down.

--A memorial to honor 18-year-old hero Kendrick Castillo is set for tomorrow.  Kendrick was shot in the chest and died when he and fellow seniors Brendan Bialy and Joshua Jones rushed and subdued one of the shooters in their classroom.  The students were watching 'The Princess Bride' in British Lit class when one of the shooters pulled a gun and told everyone to stay still.

--An armed private security guard reportedly apprehended the other student shooter.

--There's an unconfirmed report that the private security guard mistakenly shot at deputies and injured students in the process.

I saw one of them in court on our TV news. He had dyed his hair at the front and his hair was covering his face. He is quite an attractive young man in the pictures that have been posted. The problem is, because of his immense stupidity he has stuffed his whole life up. He is also in great danger from predators in a hostile prison system. Doubtful anyone will intervene to assist him because his crimes were heinous.

There's been another mass shooting. This time it's in Virginia Beach. It appears it's at a workplace and the shooter was a long time employee. Law enforcement are saying there are 11 dead   :(

:(

It's been confirmed that the mass shooter was a disgruntled current employee of the Virginia Beach Department of Public Works and Public Utilities, as well as a member of the National Guard.

[Image: DeWayne-Craddock-Virginia-Beach-VA-Mass-...Friday.jpg]
^ DeWayne Craddock, 40, was an engineer who served as a project manager and contact for a number of utility projects.  In the weeks leading up to yesterday's massacre, he made multiple firearms purchases.

LE says the offices at the workplace were cubicles open to the public, so it wasn't much of a challenge for the murderer -- armed with a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun with silencer and several extended capacity magazines -- to pick off (reportedly random) targets on all three floors of the building.

Sadly, the death count has risen to 12, not including Craddock, who was killed by police after an hours-long shoot out.   Several more people were injured and are undergoing surgery.  One of the injured is a police officer.
