I see that car's listening to government recommendations is working out really well for him. In the interim, I haven't heard of any single snowbird come back to new Hampshire and complain about the rise in covid cases.
I missed the boat!
By the time I started looking for flights back to NE in early May, there were no "non-stop" flights till End of June! All May early June were sold out!
Wow, you don't drive back and forth? All the snowbirds that I know drive between Florida and new England. Look at it this way, at least you don't have to give up grits and boiled peanuts for the summer

I'm so glad my Dad is out of that wretched hellhole. I know he doesn't like North Country winters any longer but he better stay up there until it's safe to return and that won't be any time soon.

So I cheered up, and they were right, things got worse! Story of my life. My life starts getting good....wham! Pandemic hits everything is closed and I'm stuck at home bored out of my mind....things are looking good, back to work, things are starting to reopen, I have a girlfriend...then wham! I get hit by a car, no more car, no girlfriend, no hanging around with friends, people going all Aussiefriend on me because I decide I don't want a lawyer. Only good to come of this is I lost about 60 pounds and I have a primary care doctor.

Don't like when drivers in their car have the radio blasting with the windows open, and when they stop next to you at a red light, you have to listen to their blasting loud music!

I don't like it when it turns into a 2 minute dance party with awesome jams. Those red lights are too short. And when your jamming they're easy to mistake for strobe lights.

Same on the water apparently! Although the other day was sort of funny.
I get on the water, in my kayak, and I'm just chilling for a moment, texting some people, enjoying the shade and cool air and I hear this music and I try not to pay much attention to it otherwise I become super annoyed. I assumed it was a jet ski (Im in a no wake zone, so everyone is real chill) finally I look up and there are 2 guys on paddle boards and one has what looks like a boom box on his-and the guy looks like forest gump with the beard-I just kind of stared for a few moments. Wasn't expecting to see that. I really wish I would have got a picture.
I thought people had headphones now-why do I have to hear everyone's music? I have never desired to share my music w/ others. But I used to blast classical music when people would blast their music.

Damn you people are old. You remind me of my friend Mike asking me to turn down my music while we are at the cigar shop because others were watching TV. "I told him that we are all adults here and I will only turn down or shut off my music if asked by the TV watchers."

Some people like to listen to music, and be able to hear what's going on around them. My son has a waterproof speaker because he likes to know when power boats are going by while he paddleboards.

It has nothing to do with being old, it has to do with me listening to "my music" in "my" car, (with my windows "closed", A/C on) and then some jackass dusfus stops at a red light next to me, with blasting music in "his" car with the windows open, where music so loud that it drowns out my music in my car, even with my windows closed!!!
How RUDE!(Where's a cop when you need him/her) to stop the "noise pollution"!
