I don't think she should either.   I don't think anyone should be in prison because of pot, but we have a shitton of people who are incarcerated in the usa because of it.  Meh.

I got caught up on the news of the week today and the number of people I saw complaining about this and calling Brittney unamerican and upset that a marine didn't get released-I mean imagine if this were your daughter. Should everyone be released? Sure, but it was her or no one apparently.

The Russians view that marine as a spy, he's not going anywhere.

That's the truth, some have had their entire lives taken away because of it. Russia would have traded the marine, instead they played the Biden administration like a fiddle and traded a not too bright lesbian basketball player for an international arms dealer.

Actually,  according to an article I read from the vets family,   Russia will only trade him for some idiot that is currently being held in Germany.   Give me a few minutes to find the article.

That Marine would have been home the first week of the Biden presidency if he was gay.

Sally, it's a fact, it's not an opinion, it's not supposition, it's not me pulling something out of my ass, it is fact.

No, he wouldn't. Russia views him as a spy and he was found guilty of espionage. I'm not at all saying that was right, all I'm saying is that Russia views the value of those 2 Americans differently.

Russia views those 2 Americans as bargaining chips and the Biden admin lost that game of chess. There was already talk of trading him and it's still not off the table.

It's never off the table, Sally.

Everything has a price and Biden would have paid it if he was gay. Would it have cost more than Griner did? Sure, but so what.

You think that's the only thing that can be bargained?

Of course not and you just proved my point. They could have already had him out of there, but he's not a gay basketball player.
