Well, like Duchess and Lumpy I too am childless by CHOICE. I think it's the braver women who don't succumb to familial or social pressure to have children when they truly do not want them.
An unwanted child is worse than not having one at all. I know too many kids who (well, adults now) who didn't need to be told they were not exactly 'wanted' but "kept" anyway - they just knew. Or how about the single mom and the absent/not want to participate dad? Yeah, that's gotta be healthy for the kid. Call me old fashioned but I strongly feel kids deserve two parents who love them and not be forced to be part of their lives by a court order. Granted shit happens and I am flexible enough to allow for that. I have to agree with Lumpy when she said it does not take any great feat to have a baby. After all, women are built for that purpose but in return, it does not take much on the man to get his rocks off and make one as well.

Well, shit I was childless BY CHOICE until I got preganant and decided to have a child. Plus, as you are all aware either through direct experience with your own shitty parents or your favorite shows on the SyFy channel- anyone can have sex and get pregnant. Being a parent is much more difficult.
Certain people are making this out to be a bigger deal than it really is, and you flamethrowing fuckers can't have it both ways. To whit: Don't think that making fun of someone FOR having a kid will not result in them turning your insult inside out & then throwing that shit right back at you. Furthermore, don't act all hurt and triple explain how and why your ass is barren when it happens. I really don't care who has a kid and who does not. Truthfully I ain't really that mommish any damned way. On a serious note: I am not the person who started the mommy versus barren bitch shit throw contest up in here. Very serious note: If anyone is genuinely hurt by my jokes, I apologize.

Ok..just wanted to make sure you all know where I really stand on this in between all the joking.
To be blunt: Kids / no kids ...cool with me either way.

We can't expect someone with her relationship track record and MO to truly appreciate compromise and making other things be more important. She also lacks the intellectual capacity to appreciate how an Agnostic might not give a fuck that he is in a temple, church, whatever. It's all mostly a great big breakfast afterward and family time for me. She can't relate to that because her family experience is limited to online greeting cards and ex husbands. Have pity.

Hey Frank, Julie's a federal employee... don't you have something you want to tell her about federal employees?
Didn't think so, you big twat.

Yes, I would like to thank her for setting up a fine contrast to the stereotypical Federal Fuck (you).
Thank you, Julie.

Lumpy doesn't get that, Julie. She props up her vibrator with its own glass of eggnog this time of year.

That WAS the criteria a week ago, now you've changed it to meet your agenda at piquing my annoyance level. Come on, Frank... let's fill in the spaces: Federal employees like Lumpy bother me because: a. they're better paid than I am. b. they're employed unlike me. c. I'm a raving lunatic that doesn't need a reason and make no sense half the time anyway.
