In plenty of areas people still didn't want to hire, rent to, loan money to, do business with, etc. Black people well after the 1960s. Whites as a whole in America never had to go through that, not even including a mentality born out of slavery.

All I am saying is what we are witnessing in the Black community is not some inherent flaw of dark skin, but a reasonable and even predictable ramification of their history.

I know more about the Native culture and history than I do about black Americans because I grew up in the West. Native Americans keep their culture alive. They don't integrate as much becaue they do have reservations run by their tribes that include schools, utilities, police, etc. Most tribes self-govern. Did you know Abraham Lincoln, savior to black people, ordered the extinction of the Sioux tribe so the government could cheat them out of owed money?

I'm sure many Natives hate white people. They got in some good licks in the wars, though, and killed their share of settlers. Black people are making up for that now, I guess, killing anything that moves after dark at a car wash or convenience store or apartment complex.

There is all sorts of domestic violence and child abuse, it's rife. The majority live in the Northern Territory or in rural areas. Their bodies cannot process the alcohol like anglo-saxons.

I think its to keep law and order. As in the past they would get their money on their pension day and spend it all on alcohol and their was rape, child molestation and domestic violence. A Queensland minister years ago took a bottle of wine on the plane when she was visiting one, it got mentioned in the media, and she got sacked. No one is above the law.

All the inner city schools here are abject failures but this state is starting to force them to turn around. It's called "crabs in a barrel." Ghetto blacks don't want to see members of their community doing well so they try to drag them back down to their level. Doing well (besides rap, it's okay to do rap) is considered "acting white."

Schools are a reflection of their communities. If people don't value learning, they won't take advantage of their free education. States can't do anything about that. Don't tell the states, though, they are still trying.
