FOOD FOR THOUGHT

No one is ever going to say that about me. I don't know why I find that so amusing but I'm laughing. It's not funny. I'm so tired.

I only said that because I pick on her so much I was feeling guilty. Now I'm just mad I didn't get any pizza.

I tried this at the grocery store today. It's so easy a maggot could do it. While stoned. Which is probably when they taste the best. The pizzas not the maggots.

PBJ Pizza

4 English muffins, split open
2 tablespoons strawberry preserves
12 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup vanilla low-fat greek yogurt
2 tablespoons peanut butter
4 peanut butter sandwich cookies like Nutter Butters

Toast muffins

mix fresh strawberries and preserves together

combine yogurt and PB

crush cookies

spread yogurt and pb mixture on English muffin half, top with strawberries and sprinkles with cookies

If you brine chicken breast in a mixture of 1 gallon cold water, 12 cup of salt and 23 cup of light brown sugar for six hours, followed by rinsing it off and brining it in pickle juice for 1 hour then you get a chicken breast that has the exact texture and flavor of Chick Filet. After rinsing off the pickle juice and patting them dry, sprinkle a mixture of 1 Tbsp. salt, 12 Tbsp. pepper and a tsp. paprika over them.

What they bread and fry it with I don't know, that's a different secret. But the chicken itself taste just like chik filet.

I will try that.

Is pickle juice sold by itself?

...maybe not already made. Quite a few years ago I gave canning a shot one Summer and I found mixes available in the store to make pickles. All you do is add vinegar & water, all the spices are in the package.

That's how I do pickling. I only do the stuff that you don't need a pressure cooker for like cucumbers you need a pressure cooker for tomato's . That may be an option though.

I've never seen it before, but they might sell it in specialty stores. I just drained a jar of pickles into a freezer bag and soaked the chicken breasts in that. It was just enough to cover them.

I then breaded them and fried it, but my breading wasn't sticking to the chicken. Next time I'll just grill them.

I had to dip and bread my jalapeno poppers 3 times to get that nice coating on them. That was a ton of work though.

Yea. Crunchy French or Italian bread brushed with olive oil, grilled, spread with avocado and sprinkled with hot pepper flakes and a pinch of sea salt. I'll take six slices.

There's nothing I can immediately imagine which isn't better with avocado on it or in it.

When I was growing up, we didn't have a lot of money (even sal's family would have probably called us white trash). Anyway, back then...avocado, mayo, pepper, cheddar, toasted sour dough sandwiches was like caviar to me. Once I could afford such a delicacy everyday financially, I realized I couldn't afford the calories but once or twice a year.

Life sucks sometimes, but avocados never suck.

They're healthy too. That doesn't mean to eat a big bowl of guac and chips, but a couple of slices a day will supplement your diet with the good fat that your body needs.

Dill or bread & butter. That is the question. I don't even know WTF Chik fillet taste like and as I get ready to make this Monday I think I will add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the eggs I use to dbl dip these pieces of chicken breast to 8" long pcs deep fried in Crisco. With seasoned French fries they should go well with a salad I made from my garden. The dressing was made by the professor and I got a good deal on the pile of chicken. Where the hell is MO..............he likes this shit.

Definitely dill for the marinade. Bread and butter chips to go on the actual sandwich. You've never had a chick filet sandwich? Where do you live, under a rock in bum fucked Egypt?
