I call Bullshit.
Spanking and Beating are two completely different things.
There is nothing wrong with spanking a child, I spanked mine when they were young and they both turned out to be Very Fine people. Neither one got spanked after the age of 5 or 6, didn't need it.
My parents beat the shit out of us with a belt, I finally had enough and bounced the step dad off a wall when I was 14, that was the end of that.
Your correct that there is never an excuse for Abusing a child, but a spanking is not abuse. The video in question is way beyond spanking and most definately abuse

Spanking is physical abuse, there is never any excuse for someone physically attacking someone half their size I don't care what they've done.

If you can't control your kids without resorting to physical assault you shouldn't have kids.
