Cleveland Kidnapping Victim Amanda Berry Makes First Public Appearance at Music Festival
The crowds at Cleveland's RoverFest 2013 didn't know what to expect when a host of a local radio station came out on stage at the day-long concert at Voinovich Park on Saturday and told concertgoers that a very special guest was about to make an appearance at the event. "I want you to give this person a bigger round of applause and cheer than me, anyone on the show, any of the acts that are here," WMMS radio host Rover told the audience. He claims that he therefore became addicted to porn and masturbation. He said he's not violent and that he was wrong for taking the girls and using his daughter to get to them, but that none of them were virgins and they asked for sex. He said the FBI is to blame for what happened to the girls because they questioned his daughter but they never questioned him (that really tweaks me too, to be honest, but nothing can change it now). He asked to see his 6 year old daughter with Amanda Berry. (He was later told by the judge he is prohibited from contacting any of the victims or their families.) In short, Castro made lame ass excuses, attempted to blame his victims and LE, and took no responsibility. Psychiatrists testified that Castro has no mental illness and there are no excuses for his behavior. Doctors testified that the girls were all malnourished, dehydrated and traumatized when they were found. Knight was bruised.
