Mohammed obviously has a lot more time on his hands than I have that's for sure to put so much effort and gusto into a little mock forum.
I can only imagine he's trying to fill some kind of void in his life his anecdotes about tea and the Empire have quickly become tiresome and rather repetitive.
He is definitely a one note piano.

For the first time ever I used it in my coffee this morning & it was fine. I went into it with a positive attitude, I didn't want to feel bitchy about it and I only used about an 1⁄8 of a teaspoon per cup. Giving it up isn't going to be the issue that I thought it might be.
Thanks!
I am going to use it in my tea. As soon as I but some that is.

Thanks! duchess, there are a number of high quality alternative sweeteners that are natural and much healthier than the pick-your-poison trifecta of asparsacharinulose.
Stevia is a non glycemic (won't screw with blood sugar) sweetener made from a plant and perfectly acceptable as a diet aid, without all the lovely cancerous side effects. Agave is another. Look them up. You can find both at health or whole foods joints, and Truvia is on many grocery shelves but I mistrust anything that'd been "processed". No telling what they did to it. I do believe there are some sodas experimenting with stevia as well...

Stevia extract has become quite common as a sweetener in soft drinks in the UK recently. There was a big hoo har in the UK media when the dangers of aspartame and other artificial sweeteners were highlighted.
One of my favourites is Drench a mixture of spring water and fruit juice that uses steriol glycosides instead of an artificial sweetener.

I took a quick look & saw it referred to as the holy grail of natural sweeteners.
I'll look in my market to see if they carry it, they may in the health food section.

(2) Just popping in Holiday Weekend, during a brief pause from getting all the BBQ stuff prepped. Loads of work, but love it! In a few hours, let the gala begin!

Quick note: there are rumblings that the 'stevia-based" mass produced products like Pure-via and Truvia have chemical additives that make them much less healthy. Go with stevia extract in health stores, not with the processed shit.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Yeah, just go with the pure Stevia or Agave from the health store to sweeten your tea and coffee. No Truvia. I don't think they're putting Stevia in diet sodas yet, however, it's still the artificial crap. So your best bet for soda is just to drink the regular high fructose stuff in moderation.
I'm not big on sweet stuff anyway so none of this has really been an issue for me, I like my coffee and tea strong, black and bitter like my men. On the rare occasion I do crave something sweet I want it to be the real stuff, however.

(3) Gala ended. Great time had by all, guests took home goodie bags, and now it's time to relax and have a few more cold ones.

Ha ha!
People were talking about the so called “Islamification” of Great Britain 15 years ago.
Muslims were about 3% of the population back then now 15 years later they are just under 4%. A tiny percentage of that 4% are radical.
Oh no! Hide the family silver! Nail pieces of crooked wood against the windows the Muslims are coming!
