If the republican candidates weren't a bunch of jokers before, Bernie and Clinton just made them look like a bunch of damn clowns.

That's pretty much what they do, but from what I saw, Hillary should fear Bernie. She came off like a hack. He came out smelling like a rose.

Sometimes Hillary tries too hard like she's putting on an act. They all do except for Bernie. Bernie is just himself and seems the most honest. Too bad he's so old and I don't agree with him on employment issues. He's going to be bad for small businesses I think. I still like him the best though.

Bernie Sanders is a fine notion for young idealists to wrap their black/white perceptions on, but HRC is the seasoned politician we need to break the gridlock in Washington. She knows the game, can play hardball with the best of them, and would absolutely know how to reach across the aisle when necessary.

I do find it interesting that when a woman shows the same grit, determination and hardass personality that would be applauded in a male counterpart, she is labelled a Bitch and it counts against her. Shows how far we haven't come...

I love smart aggressive women. The only problem I have with this statement and Hillary for that matter is that I don't agree with the way a lot of men conduct business and Hillary does it the same way those men do. This country really needs a shift from the traditional politics that have been failing us for so long. I'd pick Bernie over Hillary because he's not cut from that mold.

I agree, and then Bob W. Journalist, says Hillary shouts, OMG, really? She has to shout to be heard above the cackling men. I can't believe that in the year 2016, the double standard is alive and well. The equal rights amendment was signed in 1972 if memory serves me right. The reality is that women still get paid .77 cents to a man's $1.00. And the male candidates don't shout, they yell.....at each other.

I do like Bernie, however, when he said he would have to raise taxes, I wasn't happy about that...and I think Hillary would be stronger in foreign policy which is crucial in these times....I think Bernie has the best intentions and is an honorable man, but lacks the overall experience.

I applaud those women before me and who now fight for our rights; As long as most lawmakers in Congress are male, equal rights for women and other minorities will never be a priority....No, we have not come a long way, baby....

This shouldn't have to be battle between sexes, just afford women and other minorities equal rights. For example, get rid of that ass, Clarence Thomas, who sits on the Supreme Court, and years ago, was sued for sexual harassment, and replace him with a woman...

I read recently that some women working for Trump are being paid less money that their male counterparts...and they are speaking out. How long are we going to be silent about these practices? Discrimination still exists and will continue to, unless we have a change of leadership who will have our backs...

I got a lot out of the Democratic Town Hall and the Democratic Debate this week, between Sanders and Clinton. It's much clearer how the two candidates differ stylistically, topically, and in their approaches and priorities.

Tonight's Republican debate will almost certainly see the candidates pointing out each other flaws, dirty tricks, and perceived pandering & flip-flopping. But, it should be interesting to hear each try to differentiate himself in a way that will appeal to New Hampshire primary voters; hopefully there will also be some detailed focus on the issues and plans.

There are 8 candidates left on the Republican side. Unfortunately, Carly Fiorina did not get enough poll support to qualify for tonight's debate, so it will just be the boys: Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, Kasich, Bush, and Christie.

The debate is at 5 pm EST on ABC; ABC will be live streaming as well.

I feel a bit sorry for Jeb Bush. He has more PAC money than any other candidate and he's spending a fortune, but he just keeps dog-paddling.

I don't know if anyone else has seen the recent interviews, ads and meetings with Barbara Bush. The ad above isn't too bad (though pretty darn weak, in my opinion), but their interactions at a New Hampshire town hall the other day struck me as weird and a little pitiful.

During some of her recent interviews, Barbara Bush has said that she's sick of Donald Trump and she doesn't see how any woman could vote for Trump. Trump has clobbered Bush when it comes to personal insults and pissing contests, in my opinion. It'll be interesting to see if Trump holds back tonight or goes all "yo momma!" and hits back at Jeb for Barbara's bashing.

I have no idea what Jeb's campaign strategists are thinking. To me, the last thing Bush needs now is to put forth a "momma's boy" image.
