Tree is up, and house is decorated...inside and out.
Most presents are bought. Just waiting on shipping. I haven't wrapped hardly any of them that are here yet.
Not sure on the menu, but because we go so big on thanksgiving, we will probably just do comfort foods for Christmas.
My youngest daughter's birthday was the 9th, and my wedding anniversary is the 19th...so it is a busy month for us.
My last final for this semester is tonight, and I feel like my head is about to explode.

I can't find a perfume or cologne that smells good to me. My husband uses some type of body wash that smells good, but I don't know it's name. It smells like a man, and not some kind of fruit...and that's good.

If it wasn't for my kids, I wouldn't be doing Christmas. Just not in the holiday spirit.
Wondering if Sally feels the same way.
On a side note, it will be 2 months on Thursday that my dad passed. Which just happens to be my anniversary :(

Haha...the good news is, there's no hell anyway. Just very close to Christmas. Saves gathering all the family twice I suppose.

I'm sorry Nrkrr. There are so many of us that lost a parent this year.
Didn't mean to leave anyone out, Ramsey. I just remember that Sally's mom died right after my dad, so that one sticks out in my mind.

I was joking with him one night, and since I hadn't worked all year because I stayed home the first year after my girls were born...I had no income.
I told him that if we got married by the end of the year, he could claim me as a dependent. We got married 4 days later. It was a nice, small wedding. My only regret is that we didn't get married in a church.

The only holiday finery I have is a ceramic turkey my mom made.
Gifts have not yet arrived from Amazon. Christmas Eve will be our usual pizza and wings from Guida's. For the day, a Turkey breast that has been hanging in the freezer since before Thanksgiving. With stuffing, mashed taters and maybe a cranberry or two. And a pie.

My Godamn tree is up, the fucking decorations are out. The stupid windows have shit on them. My cards are sitting in a pile waiting for some idiot to mail them. The stinking presents are out in the barn waiting to be wrapped with smelly paper with bonehead santa pictures on it. Just one more butt ugly Christmas party to raise hell at. (I really pissed everyone off at my company one but that's another story)
And last but not least my booze shelf is fully stocked.
