I have been denied benefits due me that I have PAID into the system for while watching with my own eyes and hearing with my own ears someone from another country who could not speak English, (through an interpreter who was dressed in a garish outfit resembling the pimp Huggy Bear from the old Starsky and Hutch show) get the benefits I was applying for INSTANTLY because she had a couple of children.

I heard them CLEARLY say she's here illegally. She/they were only 5 feet from me at another desk.

I had finally gotten an appointment 5 years later after applying and getting turned down for what is rightfully due me.

Where someone comes from is not the issue - no one can call me racist for my views on immigration. NO ONE.

I don't give a fuck where you're from and what color you are, our immigration laws are the same as yours in the UK - you gotta go through the proper channels to get here. JUST LIKE MY FAMILY ON BOTH SIDES DID.

We had no money in our original countries. My ancestors struggled and scrimped and saved for passage here.

Whether immigration is free or a paid priviledge, everyone coming here is to be documented. It's to protect them as well as protect the US citizens. PERIOD.

People who come here illegally are also treated like shit. They are afraid to come out to the open because they fear deportation. So they get treated like shit, live in squalor and many are brutalized and murdered never to be found missing because no one from their home country can tell you they're missing. Invisible people.

Another problem is that Americans do not want a national ID card. BUT when you go to apply for a license or other kind of item requiring you show government ID, what's the difference? No one complains when asked for a 'government ID' asked for in those situations.

Illegals don't like the idea of an ID because they fear deportation. It's a mess that isn't going to be sorted out anytime soon. But I feel that granting EVERYONE here immunity and citizenship isn't going to stop a third massive migration of people over our borders. Regan gave immunity once, the numbers of illegals increased faster since because they expect the same to happen.

France has riots by disenfranchised Muslims that are pigeon-holed to live in French ghettos. the UK is bending over backward to accommodate anyone who bitches with a cry of racism. Europe is a bunch of PC pussies being run rough-shod over by bullies using racism as an excuse to turn what was into their ideal.

Countries are losing their identities and cultures because they want to make everyone happy.

I feel if I were to say emigrate to Jamaica it would be upon ME to learn their customs and speak Patois, not me force them to accommodate me and my American ideals and rights. One moves to a new land because they want to be part of that land and not go there to change it to what they left from.

I don't know. I have many of the forums there collapsed too. I know that there are now sub-forums in a general area so you would have to double check to see if it's a separate forum via sub or mingled. I know many forums were cut out/back/streamlined for efficiency.

I also have not commented on any of the jabs at them on topics started here because of exactly what I said - mixed interpretations and what's posted here is for the sole purpose to get someone riled up.

I've befreinded plenty of illegal people over the years and I've helped every single one of them to gain legal citizenship. Granted it was after the fact, but all in all they do want to do it legally.

Sadly, many of the countries people come here from are just awful places. News media there under the heavy hand of their own corrupt government only give them bullshit information about America. They don't make it easy for them to live there nor do they allow them to come here easily. Hostages in their own lands.

Now, what the PROPER thing would be for any country is to have just like America did.... people revolt to a degree - and try to change the situation at home. America should support such things and be a bit of a bully in the process. But our position does not allow this and if we did, the world would cry with outrage that we're a bunch of big 'buttinskies'.

The new Mexican president is actually trying to clean up what the past has destroyed there. Mexicans should be wanting to better their homeland and take pride in who they are. But if the people keep leaving (Mexico or any other messed up country) who's going to be left to instill change? Country leaders have taken advantage over a weak populace time and again. Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Yes to a degree.... then she gets herself all wound up and starts talking about stuff as if she has an inside bit of knowledge. Sometimes people also say things in an extreme manner to get things going and people riled up. Much like Al Gore and his bullshit with global warming. That's right, I don't believe the global warming bullshit, but that's another debate.

Here's an example where I can see where she makes sense, then goes a little extreme for me:

We call the White House with the same exact message only we add that all the illegals who got him there......aren't going to be keeping him there like he's hoping!!! We're sending letters and faxes! When you start doing these things, they DO pay attention!! We're doing even more at the state levels......... IF, the time comes that we feel we can't turn this around by working the legal and proper way, I believe you are right. There will be people doing what needs to be done. Take the borders for one, it's time to take charge. If nothings done soon.......the people will take charge. They already are. If the government takes your country down, they leave no other choice for the people. Why do you think O-dumb-one wants all the guns and ammo? They know what they are doing, and it's been going on for a long time.
