TRUMP. NOTHING BUT TRUMP

It looks like the violent protesters from move on were the agitators at trumps rally. It was a good decision to cancel the rally and what the protesters did was reminiscent of what the Nazi brownshirts did to political opponents in that time. When the rally was cancelled they chanted Bernie, Bernie. I believe protesting is OK but not antagonistic reprehensible actions that move on represents. It was not a "win" for them but another example of college students trying to suppress free speech in the most deplorable way by creating havoc.

Too stupid to realize they probably helped Trump more than they hurt him.

Protest, by nature, is going to 'agitate' those being protested. It doesn't justify violence.

If Trump really doesn't want to perpetuate violence, I think he is making a big mistake by repeatedly telling his crowds of followers about how he misses the days when protesters were carried out on stretchers and how they should knock the hell out of people and such.

However, I won't be surprised if FAHQTOO is right and the protests only serve to increase the level of devotion among Trump's existing followers.

Anyway, I wish Trump would simply denounce violence against those with opposing views and tell his his fervent supporters that they should let the police security guards do their jobs if a protester is out of line (unless there is a justifiable need for immediate self defense, which thus far I haven't seen be the case).

Trump attracts people like ^ this moron (among other types). They don't need to be encouraged and fueled.

Ray Charles saw this coming. When you've got someone who publicly states the protesters should be punched in the face or carried out on stretchers, etc. then no one, least of all Trump, should be surprised when this bullshit goes down. He's on some morning news programs expressing dismay that this has happened. Jesus Christ...and when people in the audience shout crap he stands there and smiles & nods, there are those who take that as condoning and encouraging. When you act like an asshole and are then presented with a positive attitude because of it, that's encouragement. He sanctions this crap.

I still say the protesters are the bigger assholes. Protest is fine as long as they keep their distance and let free speech be free. There is no need to go into an event before it happens and start tearing the place up.

I agree with that, Maggot but how do you know it was the protesters who started it? Trump has created this atmosphere. I hold him responsible for lighting the fuse.

They were in the arena first waiting for the crowds to come in. They went there with the sole intent of agitation. I'm sure the next rally will be different and they will be outside the arena swearing and spitting on the supporters.

Elsewhere, Mr. Trump’s security has tried to identify and exclude potential demonstrators before they enter his events, but large groups of protesters had waited in line for seats here, and engaged in tense disputes with Trump supporters even as the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion was still filling up. For more than an hour before the event was to begin, security teams led protesters out, one by one, but many more remained, sparring with Trump supporters.

I'm sure if The Donald was offering free tuition and free housing and free stuff things would be better. Maybe he should start lying like the other contestants are. Maybe start saying reparations are due then he could get the 10% of the vote that Bernie and Hillary are coveting.

Is anything being said about why those supporters who attack protesters are not escorted out? Meh. I guess it doesn't matter. There is no end in sight and I expect it will continue for months to come. He has created an us against them mentality and it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

They were escorted out but many wore Trump shirts and hats to get in. They can protest all they want but they should not be able to interrupt proceedings. This is the new violent protests that were in place before Trump even started his campaign. He is winning now and they are getting more violent. Who is pushing and backing these people? That may be the real question.

I don't think one asshole is bigger than another, but u know me.....equality for all......

I am going to say that I believe Donny is responsible for the protesters protesting the supporters.......He is the one who is stirring the pot by spewing his hate and other negative rhetoric. He has pumped up his supporters and has spread the hate; he has incited the protesters by insulting and humiliating them, by embarrassing our Country, and just for generally, being a damn fool. I do think he leans more left than he will ever admit, and maybe shaking up the Republican party was a good idea, but he has gone too far. I also believe that he started all of this on a whim, for his own entertainment and to feed his own ego. When he realized people were "falling" for his shit, he then decided to take it all the way.

Just because Donny isn't in the middle of the riots, etc., doesn't mean he can deny responsibility for this mess......He is a shit stirrer.....Admittedly, we had a divisive country before Trump and racial tensions, but he most definitely took advantage of that to make himself look good to a specific populace.

So the protesters are right when they get in peoples faces shouting obscenities in someone else's house? Personal responsibility works both ways. I lay all the blame on the protesters.

Obama divided this country he did not unify it. This is the result.

hah That's just ...wild.

Are you aware that Trump told his supporters something to the effect of "knock the crap out of them" (the protesters) and "I'll pay the legal fees"? I'm incredulous but I'm laughing too. This shit is crazy.

No, Obama did not divide this country. Our country is divided because he is Black........Of course, I know this doesn't apply to you all here on Mock (or to a lot of other people), but when Obama became President, out came the haters openly on social media black-balling him because of his color and admitted to this by calling him a monkey and his wife a male. Insults toward him were flying all over the place. A lot of people didn't even try to cover up the fact, they openly showed cartoons of him being lynched, and other racially charged rhetoric.......some talked of "taking him out" openly on the social media....all of this Obama blaming over the last few years has created an atmosphere of hate.

Then, in walks, their hero, Donald J Trump. He tells people what they want to hear and he validates all the hate and it spreads like a cancer......and then we have chaos......Do you really think Donny is not responsible for this unrest and acting out at his political rallies? You know about Psychology...you don't have to get your hands dirty, just say the right thing to the "right" people and they will perform as expected.

BBH said it better than I would have. And with less profanity. Obama will be remembered as a pretty effective leader who accomplished some major things against tremendous opposition. Trump is a carnival barker who has found himself in a position to create terrible damage to the fabric of our country if we allow it.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I see Donal Trump trying to speak at rally in Kansas City, but protesters keep stopping him from talking so he is busy telling security to "get 'em out of here" and "get outa of here." It is more organized than Chicago rally; the police had put up barriers in street to prevent direct contact between the two groups.....all I can say is just....wow, there are just so many protesters here....Donny is still saying they are Bernie's supporters. hahhahhah
