A church in the Poconos asked worshipers to bring their AR-15 style weapons to a ceremony to be blessed. The church refers to the weapons as the "rod of iron". 

I really need to get over being gobsmacked by what churches do.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that our culture is completely saturated with violence, from top to bottom, including "news" programming that sensationalizes it day in and day out, while feigning indignation and outrage?
