Actually, rotting teeth and gum disease is also dangerous to your health. It can pose a serious health hazard in fact. You can get sepsis from badly infected teeth.

Yeah, there are fairly new findings and reports out that link gum disease to a higher incidence of heart attacks...has something to do with the immune system enlarging the heart (cardiomegaly) which in turn ruptures plaque deposits which cause arterial clots and the immediate heart attack.

Of course, if you're super-sized AND have shitty gums, its just a matter of time.

i've seen a lot of what is referred to as "bottle mouth" here in the states also. kids are put to bed nightly with a bottle of juice stuck in their mouths for hours like a pacifier . it eats away at the enamel.

MANATEE COUNTY - Police say a Palmetto mother neglected to provide her child with needed dental care, which led to severe tooth decay.






Tamika S. White, 19, was arrested Wednesday on a felony neglect charge.

Her daughter, whose age was not listed, has suffered from tooth pain for more than a year, according to a Palmetto Police Department report.

The child's grandmother urged White to take the child to the dentist.

White took the child to a dentist who told her the child had bottle mouth -- tooth decay common in infants and toddlers, the report said.

But White's Medicaid coverage would not pay for the treatment, and she refused to seek money for treatment through child-support payments from the child's father, police said.

She also did not seek another specialist who would accept Medicaid or any other treatments that would be covered, according to a report.

White was in the Manatee County jail on Thursday without bail.

Her child is in pain for a year & she stands by and does NOTHING !...That fucking bitch...I know this sounds very dictator-ish but, having children should be considered a priviledge, one should have to "earn" the right...Hell, we have to have a license to race horses, to drive, to own a business yet, ANYONE can have children as long as they can breed...Ima bit irrational & unreasonable on this subject and should probably stay outta these threads.

I've got to agree with MF here... I'd rather have fat people than rotten teeth. Fat people can lose the weight... only cure for bad teeth is to replace them with fakes. Fuck that.
