The Iranians are great people it's their government that is horrible, they were doing good for a while but have gone backwards, their people do not want this and they do not deserve the chains they are told to wear.

I do NOT want Trump to go to war with Iran. No needlessly.
I get Iran is a totalitarian regime. I get they do not have Western values and place no store in the West. I get that they are antagonistic.
For similar reasons to my not wanting Trump to escalate things with Saudis over that journalist, Jamal, I think the long term consequences for instability in that area of the world is NOT worth it.
THAT said, I am not a pacifist. IF they have done enough and there is a verified and significant threat, then sure. It just better be worth the knock on effects. Libya certainly was not worth it.

Yes most elderly women there have university degrees and were shuttling about in cars and smoking cigarettes, wearing Western attire and such. It was only the 1980's on that the religious authoritarianism stripped the Iranians of that.
