HAPPY FUCKING SATURDAY
#1
I got up at 3:30 and was out the door by 6:20 so I could be the first and only person in Lowe's garden center. I hope your Saturday is as successful and pleasant as my early morning was. Have a good one, Mockers.

I was up at 7:30am to get ready to pick up my brother Ed. I'm just sitting here outside the City Mission waiting to pick him up. Its sunny and 55 degrees. Can't complain.

I think he's telling us that he had sex. He calls it hot, buttery monkey love. Now he wants to shower and wash off the butter.

Yeah I get up 7:30am every day now. Especially during the week when we're supposed to check in with work and see if they need us to come in. It doesn't really apply to me since I'm not on the phones and so I'm not working the Covid-19 hotline. But I do it anyway since I'm "working" from home. Its sleeping in for me since when I go back into work I'll get up at my usual 630am.

It's been a great day, I chopped up a bunch of Bamboo and layed some plastic down to keep that nasty shit from coming back. 7 years I have been battling this shit..................I hear the plastic works good.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Did you get some new plants/trees?

It was a good Saturday outdoors; watering, pruning, blowing the leaves out of the rocks, cleaning the pool, etc...

Our Home Depot has curbside pick up now so I was able to order some fish-based fertilizer and yellow/orange Lantanas and pick them up in the parking lot, which was pretty convenient.

Yes, I did! I bought some of the same plants I ordered from that garden center out in Michigan. I didn't want to pass them up just in case my order gets cancelled. I got some New Guinea impatients too, as well as a some spikes for height in a few urns. I haven't planted anything yet. I have it all sitting off to the side just in case I have to throw a sheet over them in the coming days. I have freaky weather here and out of the blue I could get a hard frost even at this late date. I'll probably wait a week or 10 days before I plant. I'm pulling out the power washer this week, baybay. I'm ready for some outdoor living, but first...cleaning everything.

Sounds like a fun project Duchess.

Gardening and working outside  is my favorite way to spend the day; good exercise, lots of Vitamin D, and you get to enjoy the results right away.

It's so freakin hot here, but it still feels way better to be moving around outside than sitting around inside (most of the time).

There was snow in one of the northern passes this morning. I believe it!
What do you mean spikes for urns?

That hike looks longer than 2.8miles big mark.
I did not throw frisbees. That would be something. I did nothing! Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

It's proper name is Dracaena. I plant it in the center to add height and plant trailing flowers at the base of it so they spill over the edge of the urn. This isn't my picture, it's just to give you an idea of what it would look like.
