Hi! Is this thing on?
The fire in the distance kackles
we finish up
and take our things back
building up rocks
to keep the flames down
from the wind

All joshing aside Mirah, i think your a bit isolated looking at those pictures. As beautiful as it is, there is no one stop for a carton of milk and a loaf. Theres a wotkings mans social club five miutes away with live music every saturday night here, Ely is down the road with restaurants, shops, Cambridge all that has is 11 miles.

I think you need a job where there are people, i dont think your the type for this extreme isolation.

Thanks Piglet. I appreciate it.

@ Duchess, no fire nearby. That was just my random rambling.

By the way Piglet I have met several international hikers this week. I asked them all if they knew you, sadly the said, "no". Otherwise I would have said to tell you hi when they return.

I am going to an art show tonight and there will be local music. Last night some friends were visiting and we played cards until it got dark.

Duchess, this one is my absolute favorite house in this whole place. It is almost next to the other place that I showed you, which I keep meaning to post another pic w/ water.

Do you know when that cottage was built? I'd guess the 1920's.

Back when America actually had a degree of greatness, before cultural degradation set in and we were overtaken by consumerism.

Trump is a byproduct of consumerism, his conception of "greatness", purely materialistic.

Materialism is poisonous to the soul. It destroys everything because it has no appreciation for anything that can't be bought, sold, or traded. To a materialist, art is a commodity. Something to possess, rather than appreciate. Can there be happiness without appreciation? People obssessed with the accumulation of wealth and power have no time for such questions. In their madness they believe that having more will fill the void in their hearts, which have long since withered and died. It can't.

It is actually not that old, surprisingly. I will post pictures of structures that are older.

Do you know when it was built? Be interested to know if it was before WWII. More pics would be very nice if you have the time and interest.

Thanks.
