Hunter's blatant graft was in connection to his father, who was vice president and is now president, positions which do not require security clearance.
Today's oxymoron is: partisan objectivity.

republicans have spent a significant amount of time & money in their effort to find something, anything whatsoever, to damage this president with. There is no one in DC who wants it more than a maga republican and they still can't come up with anything.

That's pretty weak when you consider the fact that they have almost no political capital to speak of -- very weak, actually.
If you're not sure what political capital is I'll be happy to explain it for you.

I don't believe Jared Kushner ever ran for a political office. The same is true for Hunter. Why would you want to set a higher bar, for Hunter, in order to compare the two?
With Hunter's colorful past (compared to Kushner's), why would you expect him to pass (or be granted a security clearance) or be given a position in the White House?
Besides . . . I believe "Artist in Residence", is strictly a ceremonial position, not requiring a security clearance or vetting.
I dunno. Like you believe, a security clearance was given to someone who didn't deserve one . . . ostensibly by using the full force and capital of his political father in law.
At least Hunter does have one award, that he accomplished and rightly deserved, without any help from his father.
He did win the Povich "You are the father!" Award, with baby Navy.
That's something that should account for some consideration concerning his character and skills.

I don't expect Hunter Biden to ever hold a position in this White House or any future administration.
It doesn't matter what I personally believe, it's a fact that Jared Kushner was given security clearance over the advice of those who handle that type of thing. His father in law gave it to him.
Jared Kushner was a senior advisor to the president. He was going to facilitate peace in the Middle East.
Because I don't often articulate myself well I want to be clear that I don't give a rat's ass about Hunter Biden nor anything he says or does, he does not hold a position in the White House. The Kushner's used their position of power to make hundreds of millions of dollars during their time spent in the trump administration.

Sorry . . . I screwed up with the quote function.
You've articulated yourself quite well, Duchess.
However, Kushner was not holding a position, in the White House when the $2B deal was inked, with the Saudis.
That occurred six months after he left the White House . . . not during his time spent, at the White House.
Balls and strikes.

No apology necessary, doll.
So...aside from the 2 billion made from the networking he did while holding a position of power in the trump administration there is still the ten's, if not 100's, of millions made while in the White House.

Kushner made 2 billion, or was given 2 billion to invest?

I already went through that with Mark. I think it was earlier in this thread.

Why do you say he "made" 2 billion when 2 billion didn't go directly into his pocket?

But no formal charges (or known investigations) have ever been lodged against him.
With all of the supposed conflicts of interest, surrounding Kushner (for full public display, reporting and scrutiny), no indictments or charges . . . just ongoing conspiracies about alleged criminal and illegal activity. I appreciate a free press that exposes (in his particular case) questionable deals, investors and business practices. And who knows? Maybe that is why Kushner's security clearance was ultimately downgraded.
If respectable federal judges and prosecutors (as talking heads) expressed their opinions that Kushner should be or should have been charged with crimes, directly or indirectly associated with his time at the White House, I can't imagine why they were ignored (much like the naysayers regarding his ability to receive a security clearance).
No idea about the tens to hundreds of millions Kushner and Ivana received due to his position or their direct connection, to the White House.
Lots of conspiracy theories, but no proof.
Sorry. "Conspiracy Theory" is a term for unproven allegations associated, exclusively associated with the conservative or MAGA right.
"Narrative" is the proper synonym, for the same pattern, when used by the left.

None of this is unique to the Trump and Biden clans, but God forbid we get it in our heads that there might be a systemic problem!
Rome is burning and all people can do is talk about Trump and Biden. And so it goes.

How about just don’t fucking vote? That’s what I do, but they’ve ingrained it into the moron’s heads that it’s their civic, patriotic duty. So that won’t help, people like Duchess actually believe that the two party system is real and one or the other has the public’s best interest in mind. What a crock of shit. Trump, however, isn’t part of the club and that’s obvious. And the club doesn’t want that.

Oh bullshit. There is something wrong with you. Nearly every goddamn thing trump has done is unique.

Look at Sally. Her solution is just don't vote. Dumbass.
