I liked the comment too. My mom is a lifelong Republican but she didn’t vote for Trump in 2020 and won’t in 2024. But she’d probably be pissed if she was accused of being a Democrat just cuz she hates Trump. I don’t disagree with that statement and I hate our two party system (campaign finance reform, folks!) but I think the GOP is primarily responsible for taking obstructionism and vitriol to the level that they are today. There was a racism that started with Obama’s election and fucking McConnell vowed to do everything he could to block Obama’s agenda. Then there was his wild hypocrisy around nominating Supreme Court justices. I hate McConnell. Not near as much as I hate Trump but he’s a douche for sure.

He bears a tremendous amount of responsibility for where we are now. He had the opportunity, more than once, to kick trump into the dustbin of history and made the choice not to.

They have no dignity, nor respect for themselves and their families.

Looks like Collard Cooking Kamala pissed off a bunch of black folks by telling them that she used to wash her collard greens in the bathtub while pretending to have a southern black accent. Like that will win their votes, plus washing food in your bathtub is disgusting.

I watched that go down in real time. She was trying to convey the amount of greens she would cook at one time. She likes to cook and does a fair amount of it. Her family often post pix of her in the kitchen. I don't see her as being some flake that's putting on a phony "I cook" act. When she's talking food and how it's prepared she comes across as relatable, not to me, but to those who know their way around the kitchen.

Well I make collard greens all the time and who gives a shit, I cook brocolli all the time too. She did in fact come across as a phony flake according to the thousands of black people commenting on social media, that's how I know about it.
