It's disappointing that some of you see both candidates as the same side of the same coin and that's just not the case at all.

It's "two sides of the same coin". The political system is the coin and the two parties are it's two sides.

Look at dysfunctional families and you will always find denial and scapegoating. If one member of the family decides to break free they will be attacked for upsetting the pathological "equilibrium". Look at dysfunctional organizations and you see the very same thing. Most people choose to accept dysfunctionality because breaking free is difficult and can be very expensive. The difficulty and expense pale in comparison to what is gained, however.

The tipping point usually comes when the pain of staying outweighs the difficulties of confronting unfamiliarity and uncertainty. Societies around the world are coming apart at the seams and ours is one of them. The pain associated with living in a toxic environment is rapidly increasing. As a consequence, people are beginning to realize that being a passive spectator offers no hope of relief.

Hating Trump is it's own reward, and hate is a very toxic substance. It can kill you. This is the pathology of dysfunctionality. It kills the best things that life has to offer.

Both of their policies that they've laid out so far doesn't affect the poor or mega rich, it affects those making at or over $400,000. That would be me and millions of other buisness owners who are not rich.  Kamala's tax plan relies heavily on taxing businesses and corporations that make over $400,000 and Trumps proposed tax plan does not. Why the fuck would I vote for Kamala, because she seems like such a sweet and kind lady?

Many economists agree that Trump’s tariff plans would be awful (across the board). The cost of all imported goods would just rise (in fact beyond the pandemic price increases, I wonder if any tariffs he imposed during his presidency have resulted in the higher prices we’re seeing across the country? ??‍♀️. IDK but I don’t think Trump’s plans (as loosely as he’s been willing to discuss them) are necessarily beneficial.

He’s fucking OCD loop stuck on immigration. That’s ALL he wants to talk about (so funny hearing local Republican leaders call him on it). Arizona: “the place has fallen apart cuz of the Venezuelans”. Local officials: “eeerrrrr, not so much”.

I’m fine with disliking both parties (particularly extremes on either end although Trump isn’t considered extreme anymore which is deeply troubling). But the base problem is that we only have two viable parties. Until we fix the campaign system, it is what it is.

He was asked about grocery prices and rather than answer the question he bloviated about migrants and Hannibal Lecter.

He told any immigrants who were listening that if they wanted to become citizens they should just cross the border illegally.

trump has a chart titled Illegal Immigration Into The US. He said "I sleep with it every night. I kiss it."

No wonder the mouth breathers want more of that. They can relate to him.
