I’m NOT going to replay Trump’s encouraging his followers to show up on ¹⁄₆ (will be “wild”) or his comments at the ellipse where he said they were going to march down Pennsylvania Avenue and all the “fight, fight, fight like hell” bullshit. Nor am I going to point out that probably NONE of those people would have been there if he hadn’t claimed, even before the election, that the only way he could lose was if it was rigged and his unprecedented failure to cede the election through the certification process on ¹⁄₆ and beyond.

I did tell my husband to vote for abortion even though the amendment lacks any common sense, he doesnt give a shit and asked me what to mark. He voted against legalization which I thought was odd since he is a regular consumer. He says he likes his medical marijuana the way it is, they'll just fuck it all up and he'll have to stand in line at the dispensary behind a bunch of bums. Whatever, I dont smoke it.

Nah. Went to a dispensary for my son yesterday and it was easy peasy. We were medical only for a time and while it took maybe a year to work out the kinks (some cities are more open to having dispensaries than others), now it’s like any other shopping (no lines or anything). Our particular county doesn’t easily approve many open door dispensaries but doesn’t give two shits about delivery so basically u just order it from nearby like DoorDash. Delivery w/in an hour or so. 

Down in So Cal there are almost as many dispensaries as freaking liquor stores. But definitely easier to get even in the more uptight counties w/out a prescription.

I just filled out my ballot to drop off later this morning. I’m particularly sick about the distinct possibility that Trump might win and I’m also sick about the near certainty that there will be ugliness following the election about the results (more if Harris wins but Democrats are honing in on what they see as voter suppression and irregularities this time around too) so…

At best probably litigation around the results; a high probability of protests if not riots. Weee!

One proposition on our ballots was ending forcing prisoners to work while in jail. I don’t have a problem forcing prisoners to do work that they’re capable of doing. Maybe they had no work ethic when they landed in jail and would benefit by learning one. Or they can attend school. Or both. But sitting around doing nothing with a bunch of other criminals (just costing tax payers money) doesn’t sit well with me. I bet it passes tho. :rolls eyes:
