I get them too and have always called them a Charlie horse. Some say we get them because we don't drink enough water, but I completely disagree with that given I was still getting them after drinking a fuck ton of water during the day.

I love foot massage ecstasy. I like the bottom of my feet pinched, that’s my favorite technique.

I probably drink over a gallon of water with lemon a day. Im definitely getting enough fluids in. I can’t even blame it on old age because it has always happened since I can remember.

A year ago I moved to a National Park for a job. I am not working for the park but another entity. There are very little housing options up here. A nice family let me stay in thier house/cabin since they were not going to be moving back full time until this summer.
So I lived there and occasionaly had to deal with them visiting. It was a fair trade off. Drove me crazy sometimes, but it was a nice place.

I still have my apartment in town-I never got rid of it since I didn't have a long term plan for this place. I am here for the experience mostly.

The only way to get here is by boat. It is pretty isolated. About 100 people live here year round and then in the summer it fills with tourists and hikers and summer cabin holders.

I think that is amazing. What a wonderful life, brain and knowledge you must have with these unusual directions you have chosen in life.

Thanks Aussie.

I packed up the last of my stuff this morning and kissed the cat goodbye. He has been so chill.

Now I am borrowing the neighbors internet across the street, but I have to go on a walk to get it, so I will mostly limit it to quick checks with family.
I have internet at work of course.

I miss all of thier dishes and cooking items. I tried cooking something this weekend and the pans are crap. I ordered some things from amazon and I have to go get some of my dishes. The dishes in this park house are worthless.

Crappy pans are the worst.

I know a couple who use nothing but Le Creuset. They only have about 5-6 pieces and it's enough for them. I would love that. Every time something crashes over in my pots/pans cupboard I ask myself why I need all those fricken pots & pans. It's not like I'm a world class chef and I get my jollies from cooking.

I just typed out a whole post and it fucking disappeared. Fucking fuck fuck

The family came back today. Thier moving truck arrives tomorrow, I'm going to help them un pack it.

I'm also going to go downlake this weekend and get some more of my things. If my new pan doesn't arrive by then I will grab a pan or 2.

At least the cat won't be alone anymore.

Love Child, are domestic animals allowed to roam there or would it be too dangerous for them?

Oh man
Don't get me started.
You can't tell these people up here who have lived here thier whole lives and thier families grew up here what to do. So yes, thier domestic animals roam around free. (Some, not all) And it is a risk they take.
