I generally fall somewhere in the middle of the liberal/conservative discussions. Un-fucking-fortunately, there's no money in the middle for a viable candidate so I end up picking between two evils. Having to choose, I lean a little to the left on social policy but I have problems with the left's fiscal policy. My answer is, I vote Republican/Democrat/Republican/Democrat just to TRY to find some middle fucking ground.
Too bad there isn't a rabid middle group (like the Christian far-right or the anti-war far-left). Those of us in the middle are currently fucked.

Bullshit, register independant and make the fucks all work for your vote, write fucking letters and never like anything that those fucks in washington do, never agree with any of them on more than one issue and tell them you don't like the shit they are doing even if its not so bad.
I will vote for the first women who runs for president that can win playmate of the year, at least that way I will have some kinda fucking fantasy about what a fucking president can do that relates to me.

Yeah, they probably are but unfortunately they have no money (because they don't have the conservative churches behind them or the left wing anti-war liberal groups behind them) so they don't have a chance in hell of getting elected. It's all about money, money, money.
Honestly, I think most of the nation falls in the middle but it's the extremist groups that put up the bucks that win the elections.

Seriously... especially as far as the healthcare and education goes, why the hell doesn't our gov't just say "Oh look, the UK has a plan in place that works, why don't we copy it?". Problem solved. 
I'm waiting to see what the new healthcare plan entails and our educational system is so fucked up that it's a total joke. It was bad BEFORE the idiotic 'no child left behind' bullshit. I recently found out that one of the so-called 'improvements' to the NCLB program, is that there are NO LONGER separate classes for kids, based on their learning abilities. That means, retarded and brilliant kids are in the SAME CLASS with the SAME fucking curriculum, dumbed down to accommodate the slowest kids in the class. Our country is screwed.
