The landlord or one of his relatives cuts the grass. The perks of living in an apartment.
Of course the landlord still can't change the lightbulb in the outdoor light even after we gave him a light bulb. You can't change a light bulb? Are you sure you're not a musician?

I could change the lightbulb but the door on the lamp is rusted and hard to open so I'd rather have the landlord change it and not risk breaking the lamp.

I'm good at karaoke as long as I'm singing Enter Sandman, Secret Agent Man, Medium Pace, and a few others.

Better put some reverb and echo in it then. Maybe inhale some helium. Or change the entire delivery by speeding it up and rapping. Throw a few swear words in for ambiance.
Mr. Sandman give me your money
Don't move an inch cuz this aint no funny
Try to run, or try to hide
We will just fukin tan yo hide.
Mr. Sandman
Shut the fuck up
Or we will tie you to the back of this truck
Try to talk o even scream
Shut yo face if you know what we mean.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Nah, I'm going to sing it normal in my normal singing voice. Just like I sang Katy Perry's Firework and One Directions' What Makes You Beatiful.

My garden survived the heat and nothing died. This is the first year radishes have actually grown well and am putting in more scallions those are easy.

Radishes did the best for me last year, I got tons of them. The peppers not so good.

I am using the kind of seeds that come on a piece of paper. They are already separated and you don't have to go back and pluck the ones that are running amuck. Those seeds are small and the last time I put them in I just ended up using way to many and they got crowded in. It's real easy and you just lay down a trough of potting soil, lay down the paper and cover with about an inch more of potting soil. I love radishes.

This weekend it got over 106 and I lost some Watermelon and Crenshaw seedlings. My crookneck yellow squash also didn't survive but I already reaped quite a few squash from the two of them. I'm harvesting about 2-3 tomatoes a week. 2-3 eggplant per month and 7 spaghetti squash. My first round of poblano peppers were about the length of my hand (about 8 in) and the second round is just starting now. I got two small heirloom green chilis and 4 small bell peppers. My radishes and dill were harvested a couple of months ago and it was a good crop. I still have about 2 lbs of dried dill.

Just got my seed catalog yesterday. Brennan seeds, I'm waiting on the heirloom catalog and will probably order some from them too. Does anyone else order seeds?

No, I usually just buy cell packs of whatever I want. I did buy sunflower seeds a few years ago but never planted them. I'd like to find some unusual annual seeds to plant, maybe a special vine. I like it when they climb my pergola. I'm interested in something unusual but I don't have anything specific in mind.

I haven't fixed my rototiller yet and may just rent one. It's in the 50's today so I'm springing around looking at stuff. I love Spring!
