I will start by conceding that I do not know everything about cars..but I know what I know. The other day, the brake light on Kim's van would come on for a second and then go off. Usually when I first started the van from a cold start. So, a couple weeks ago she had her brakes fixed. I figured there may be a problem with a sensor or something, and called the placed that fixed the brakes. They said bring it in.
I explained the problem again. They guy said..
So when did the light come on? I replied, just after start up. For a second then off. So he said, are you sure you did not hit the emergency brake? That will cause the light to go on. NO.
So, he said, well the guy may not have topped off the fluids....I will have him check.
They did, and the fluids were down. Yep..a sensor. But even then, the guy insisted that I MUST have done something wrong...was I sure it was not something I did.
Funny thing, though..since they filled the fluids, no light.
