LC (and anyone else) what about the early reports that the parents did not believe the bags and tape were from their house? do you think this was a mistake or false information? do you think the bags and tape were brought to haul away whatever they were there to take as some have suggested? or to secure johnny and lisa as they took what they wanted?

do you think if this was a robbery motive that they did not mean for johnny and lisa to be there? if it was someone they knew or were acquainted with i would think they'd want to enter when johnny and lisa were away to avoid being identified, unless murder was in the plans? (to those of you who will say they may have worn ski masks... there are other ways to ID besides seeing someone's face). unless it was someone they knew that "set them up" and sent people they wouldn't be familiar with???

sorry i'm rambling... it might not make sense as i'm typing as my thoughts come...

I think it's vital to know whether or not the bags came from the Straub residence or were brought in. If they were brought in it is VITAL to know what kind of bags they were, i.e. clear, grocery, garbage sized, etc., in order to try to figure out what the intentions for the bags were.

I think LC's point is that it doesn't matter why this happened, it doesn't matter who did it or how, the DNA and crime scene evidence will be the proof for the convicitions. Correct?

I was reading on one of the other sites the other day, posted by someone like Unknown or xxxx - someone with intimate knowledge of information - that the bags and tape were from Bed Bath & Beyond, and implied that they were brought to the house.

Wish I could find that comment, because I do remember something about it. I thought it was here, though. I thought they 'said' the tape & bags were IN a BB&B bag. Do we know for sure that the family stated these weren't things that belonged to the Straub's?

The only thing I recall about Bed, Bath & Beyond was Unknown posing some questions, to Tiffany, and one of them was, "when did you last go to BB&B?" At the time, I wondered what that meant, but I was probably so far behind in the thread that I forgot to ask about it.

I want to know even though it wont get answered is, In the past month was she doing Percocets with JC & LS? The first night she & ZB went over to LS house were they doing Percocets then? Did JC call you or ZB the day of the murders looking for Percocets? Did they call you or ZB any other time that day? If yes what did you talk about? Did LS Show you around the house? When you went to the house the first time how did you enter? Did you know of the spare key to enter the garage door on the side of the garage? When was the last time you went to bed bath and beyond? do you know anyone who works in home improvement or anything to do with duct work? Do you know of anyone capable of committing a crime like this? Was LS flirting with ZB the first night or the opposite?

Thanks for posting that, Zero! (unknown's comments) OK, so this isn't what I remember. I know I read somewhere, & maybe it wasn't here, (although I really thought it was) where someone posted that the bags, & duct tape were found in the house, in a bag, from BB&B .... maybe Unknown will clear this up, although I don't know what it really matters, lol... I just couldn't remember how I heard/read about it. I really should search out the articles where the Uncle speaks about the case... I may do that early in the morning. Good night, fellow Mockers

I just want to say this about Maytee while it's slow here on the board. I don't think anyone of us can even begin to imagine what it feels like to be the parent of a murdered child & how we would handle that grief. We can all say what we think we would do but until there, we really have no idea. Do I think I would conduct it out in public? No. But I'm not in that position so everything that Maytee has said publicly I've let slide. From the chopping up into pieces & pouring acid, because frankly if anyone murdered my kid, that's probably what I'd want to do too.... to the expressed guilt when she says things like, I should have never let you go or I wish it would have been me. As a parent, who has not felt that way from time to time? Shit I feel bad & wish I could take it for my daughter when she gets teased at school. I imagine that if my daughter was killed I'd wish that I would have kept her close at home under my protection or that I would have been killed instead of her. I read NOTHING into that. Adding to that guilt is I'm sure the fact that Maytee didn't make the best choices in her life & because of those choices she missed time with Johnny that I bet more than anything she wishes she could get back. I bet too that she has guilt from that. I think it's normal for people to become defensive about things they've done that they wish they hadn't so when she gets pissed about her past being brought up... well one I think that's guilt & 2 I think she feels that her past has nothing to do with what happened & it's taking the focus off of the matter at hand. Finding who killed her child. Her talk of vengence which sounds so harsh I think is also normal. When you lose someone you go through stages of grief. One of hose stages is anger & especially in a situation such as this. I pay no mind to that talk because Maytee has no one to blame specifically right now so she would lash out at anyone she could... wouldn't she? If I'm wrong & this is somehow due to her, I will eat my words but as for now, it bothers me & hurts me to see people trying desperatly to place the blame at her feet because of her words, method of grieving or past. I always keep in mind that she lost her 1^st born son. Something that is my absolute worst nightmare. If it ever happened to me I'd be begging for it to be me & not my child as well.
