CLEVELAND (AP) - Authorities in Cleveland say they have cracked an international drug-smuggling ring that netted 44 pounds of heroin in what they believe is the biggest seizure of the drug in Ohio history.
Twenty-four suspects face charges including heroin possession and drug trafficking in an indictment unsealed Tuesday. The case began with federal surveillance of the Columbia-to-Miami drug pipeline.
The government is seeking nearly $2 million in confiscated cash and the forfeiture of homes in Cleveland and suburban Cleveland Heights, Shaker Heights and Solon.
Authorities say the heroin was smuggled from Columbia, Mexico and Nigeria and sent to Cleveland to be resold to street dealers.
U.S. Attorney Steve Dettelbach says the two-year investigation involved numerous phone taps.

B...You can find him on fb. Read his page prior to the 31 st. He can't be found writing anything again until the 1 st, he is also friends with Tiffany and her boyfriend. Funny he has a tatoo of SOUTHSIDE right across his chest.... how scary is that. Looks pretty rough and tough. Read his post and u tell me what or where your mind takes you!!

Wow. Still processing the latest info...like always I'm with ShitStorm...sounds like hardened criminals to me...killed before and I never thought about how they "locked up" before they left...gangsta kid wanna-bes wouldn't have thought to do that...
I think safe talk is probably mistaken from Uncle...he probably heard that immediatley afterwards and took it for truth. This was a hit. Looking for safe punching walls with bats...nah...they probably were just trashing the place for the hell of it...was a hit and "while we're here let's check everywhere for drugs/$"
Maytee probably was freaking out on phone because knew of JC's life style and always feared this could happen...I don't think now it was because of JCsr bust - that was years ago...
I feel so sorry for the Straubs...loosing their dtr , knowing she was a party girl and all but all of this coming out about how deep they must have been in this world...so so sad...
I think JC fronted drugs and didn't pay back, turf issues or snitched...just got way in over his head...way of death showing "don't fuck with us or this will happen to you too"...unreal about all those other cases ShitStorm showed where this method was used...
I have to get ready for work...but when check at lunch today...PLEASE have some insider info posted on if these arrests had anything to do with the case PLEASE!
I looked at MM's and BC's FB page...MM looks like a little kid...wouldn't want BC mad at me!
The statement was so firm...wasn't a robbery...they're out of the area...instigated by victims, etc...they lst thought safe but after interviewing over 100 people, more serious implications were a common thread...kids were way WAY over their heads...
did you all see on Justice for JC/LS facebook how Maytee was asking "who" was arrested like she didn't know anything about it? Wouldn't LE have given her a heads up if arrests were connected?

Is it a fact that JC picked up LS from work? Could some one else have picked her up and JC went home and she walked in on him already subdued.At that point she was tortured to get JC to talk.In this theory maybe 2 people were involved.Maybe that explains phone call with tiff. to JC. doesn't sound prof. hit to me,unless it is prof. made to look like robbery.Sounds like setup from someone they know.Just a random thought.

I'm sure by now that we are all familiar with VD. Well his bro that was taken into custody back in Jan, it was for trafficking in Heroin. There were 3 defendants. The 1 st to cop a plea got 5 years community control. Followed by VDs bro who got a mandatory 4 years in state prison. The other defendant hasn't been sentenced yet. So finally I found something on the record for heroin on the southside of Toledo. And really what I'm finding in the court records is 2 or 3 generations in a family handing down there criminal activities, again and again and again.

I just want to add before I start my day, that all the talk about wannabe gangbangers does not relate to individuals whose father's and uncle's and grandfather's and great uncles were also gangbangers involved in criminal activity. Those are little gangbangers in the making. I'm sure seeing a lot of that here with friends of Johnny Clarke. But not so much with his immediate family.

IMO i think it was drug related, JC owed some big time dealer a lot of money and sent his people out to collect. They went to his parents house looking for JC, threatening the family and Maytee told them were they could find her son, in fear for her life and her families. Which is why she reacted they way she did on the 911 calls because they had already been to her house, again, looking for JC. I'm sure Maytee let JC know people were looking for him, but she didn't tell them where he was staying. Explaining her comments about calling him often and his responses being "I'm fine, I'm alive", etc. So when she received the call that something was wrong, she knew right away what had happened and now she was going to be placed at the scene of the crime. Which would explain the details on the 911 calls, and accusing TW of a set-up. This would also explain her emotional state and lack of 'tears' so to speak, because she knew it was probably only a matter of time when something bad was going to happen to JC. So I believe Maytee holds the key to the identity of the killers and motive behind it, but also knows what will result
if she snitches to the police. Further explaining why she's reacting the way she is when she heard about a possible arrest in the case, as she knows who will come back on when or if the perps are apprehended. To conclude, unfortunately I think it will be a long time, if ever, before we know who did it and I don't think it's going to be anyone we've mentioned here.

i am starting to think the same thing as well. dna and most other tests results should be back by now. i also believe door were locked after perps left so the bodies would not be found till after they had suffocated. i too am starting to think the perps are going to get away with murder. jmo
