In the other courtroom, Williams kind of got his motion about Confidential witness #1 and #2, GRANTED. But only In camera and 7 days before trial. Which is coming up pretty fast.

Adub, does this mean we will know who the informants are?

"in camera" means in the judges chamber, I think. So the defendant will be allowed to know who they are, and read thier statements a week before the trial , more or less. So for now, no we will not know who they are.

Wish we knew exactly where the DNA was found at the scene of this awful crime, was their fingerprints on duct tape? did they find blood from either Pettaway or Williams? did they find saliva from them? did they find hair from them? So many questions!

According to the Toledo Blade article Williams claims he has never been to that home and he didn't know Johnny and Lisa. Unbelievable.

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (WTOL) - Attorneys for Cameo Pettaway, who is accused of killing a couple in Springfield Township, want the death penalty specification dismissed.

Attorneys will appear in court Thursday to argue that the Lucas County prosecutor's office has no protocol in deciding which cases to turn capitol. In a motion, Pettaway's attorneys argue the victims were white reputed drug traffickers and provided cases of the murders of black traffickers that were not capitol.

Pettaway and a second defendant are facing aggravated murder charges for the deaths of Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub. The couple was found in her parents' home last January with their hands bound with duct tape and plastic bags over their heads.

In related news, the defense has been granted fees to test Pettaway's mental capabilities. Individuals found to be mentally challenged cannot face the death penalty by law.

Part of me wishes i still lived in the toledo area... i would love to attend these trials! I wonder if it will be televised? Its exciting that all this is finally unfolding... i hope both these tards get the death penalty!! this case is what brought me to mock in the first place... now i lurk all over this site daily

It's still baffling to me how Williams & Pettaway got over to that house, the last person to see Johnny does drywall work, Williams did roofing type work Williams buddy SG on roofing was just talking about kush again, Johnny talked about kush and so did Johnny's drywall friend VD. Taylor Dungjen Blade Report said Williams was known to be a leader. Pettaway was also selling kush, so wonder who was growing it?

Anyone can grow this in Ohio when it's warm out and they grow it indoors even I don't think it was trucked in. Anything is possible though. What I'm saying is it takes a bit of talent to grow this plant and nourish the plant, if you read up kush has a higher grade or level of THC content or more potent like and you wouldn't need to smoke so much of it or eat it in brownies LOL. Who is the talented one in or around Toledo that was supplying everyone??? Maybe someone was double crossed somewhere?
