TOLEDO, Ohio - A jury has found Cameo Pettaway not guilty on all charges in the murders of Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub.

Cameo Pettaway was accused killing Straub and Clarke in Straub's parents' Springfield Township home.

The couple was found duct taped with bags over their heads. Prosecutors pointed to a cigarette found at the scene with Pettaway's DNA on it, but Pettaway's defense team said the cigarette was moved.

I seriously feel like I've wasted a year and a half of my life. William's is probably going to walk as well for the same reason.

Apart from hearsay, that's all the physical evidence they have apart from the DNA on the tape...they had a year and a half to match that DNA. I doubt they ever will. With the constant cases coming up in Toledo, the police are probably finished with this case.

Unsolved cold case. Sorry to be so negative; resisting the urge to cuss in all caps and act like a crazy person.

I do have a hope none the less...maybe there will be an "accident" with Cam soon.

Would seem to me they would be able to try him at a later date if they wanted to. Why Bates would have let this get to a trial anyways is beyond me.
