Has American healthcare massively improved and UK healthcare significantly got worse in the last ten years?
Nope.
At least I have provided some statistical evidence, you have yet to provide any vinegar tits.
How the fuck do you really know? You DON'T. That's your problem. You haven't figured out the difference between what YOU think is true and what is actually true.
It isn't relevant. Did you not read my friendly hint to you? It isn't considered relevant to anyone other than some undereducated, self-loving idiot that knows nothing of the current, dynamic nature of health care systems.
You are an Internet Expert. I don't think you can list that on your resume, though. If you have never had the experience of being medically treated in the US, you are speaking out of pure ignorance. Proudly, I must add. You are very impressed with yourself.

Don't worry your NHS is about to get starved by David Cameron. Thatcher never touched the public health system in 80's and it was in a terrible state.
Regarding healthcare, there are different countries that specialise in different areas all over the world. You might go to a country in Europe that does treatment that might not be available in the US for legal and ethical reasons. The US is definately progressive in different areas of medicine. Alot of people go to US for treatment with top specialists in the world there.
Mental health treatment in Australia is 10 years behind the US. In fact, the model that progressive institutions are incorporating have been used in US since 1990's. I read a report from Ohio Department of Mental Health! I know, Ohio, who knew?

hahahaha.
You hit the nail on the head, aussie, in your own unassuming way. No system is all good or all bad. Each has their areas of strength and weakness.
OP is equating "free" with "good." While he is pretending that is the elitist attitude, it is really the outlook of someone raised in poverty. Free isn't necessarily good. Expensive isn't either: One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

And that's kind of what I'm trying to pound into OP's thick skull. He simply doesnt understand what he posted in the original post, and how it relates to the thread title. He's trying to infer that "free" (although they get taxed out the ass for it) health care means better health care, using the example from a 11 year old study that shows Brits are generally in better health than Americans.
Bottom line is, whodafuck cares?
When ya get right down to it, it's about life expectancy. And yes, the UK folk have a longer life expectancy by a whopping total of of approx 6 months. Source.
It's obvious, that in general, Americans eat crappy food, are more obese and also will have a higher murder rate (especially among the younger minority communities).. which contribute to this statistic. None of which has to do with the quality of medical care provided.
But as Dick correctly pointed out, Brits are probably healthier because most of them walk/bicycle a lot more to their destinations because they can't afford the fucking petrol that is taxed so heavily in order to pay for socialized medical care.

Actually, that isn't true. Britains have an obesity rate of about 25%, same as Georgia. Their own NHS thinks it will be close to 30% by 2012.

Excellent!!! Then perhaps our McDonalds invasion plan is working! They will catch us soon, and then, perhaps, OP will STFU with his holier-than-thou attitude.

Doubtful. He will blame Bush and Blair for fat people.
Not that I personally blame the healthcare system for obesity. That is a home problem.

Everything starts at home, it shapes one as an individual. I know people pull themselves up out of the gutter everyday but I would imagine it's a tremendous struggle. I appreciate my parents more now than I ever did in my life after reading in the crime forum so often, I never paid attention to that kind of shit before.

No doubt about that (your obesity comment) for the most part. Being a smoker, I'm really irritated over the attention given to cigarettes, and taxes...and the lack of attention given to unhealthy eating/obesity, which has far surpassed the medical problems caused by smoking.
But I think I've already started a thread on that subject.

I have been treated medically in the US fucknut, twice, so I speak from experience, how often have you been treated medically in the UK vinegar tits, what do you base your apparent "expertise" on the NHS on?
Luckily on both occassions I had decent travel and health insurance before leaving the UK, so I didn't have to pay the thousands of dollars it would have cost each time I was injured.
The hospital near Orlando and the hospital in New York were both crawling with fucking roaches, and the nurses really couldn't seem to give a fuck about any of the patients. i could really see where all the ridiculous premiums you tards pay were going....not.

Got your ass kicked by spewing anti-American bullshit in our country, did ya? And yeah, we save the roach-infested rooms for foreigners.

No dipshit.
I got injured in Florida skateboarding with the locals, I got injured in New York after a drunken tumble down a flight of stairs outside a sports bar if you must know.
Both hospitals were stinking shitholes throughout with all these people just left on stretchers, everywhere, old people stinking of shit and piss, and a businessman looking dude with like a fucking big shard of glass sticking in his face.

Those are the poor people hospitals. We don't go to those. Or clinics. See, we DO have no-cost-to-beggars healthcare.

Nope.
When I told the hotel manager which hospital I was taken too in Orlando he stated I was lucky that I was taken to one of the better hospitals in the area.
But honest to God, it made my local hospital look like the fucking far future.

I'm going out on a limb here, but as your country is a bit older than mine, I am guessing that many of the facilities are also older.
I only go to Orlando to see the Mouse and Harry Potter (hahaha, gayness, I know), and haven't visited the hospital there. If I were to need medical attention, I would ask to be taken to a hospital that doesn't accept Medicaid/Medicare (not sure which one is for poor folks). Cracker does not like to wait with sick people. Creeps me out completely.

Well the two nearest hospitals, one was built in the 50's but it has been refurbished many times, the new one was built in 1998 and looks like something out of a sci-fi film.
