Holly Bobo, 20, Tenn. missing. & Karen Swift

Is this what you are referring to, JsMom?

The parents of Holly Bobo spoke publicly today for the first time since Monday night's announcement by TBI that remains found in Decatur County woods did in fact belong to Holly.

A statement was delivered by the spokesman for the Bobo family on behalf of Dana, Karen and Clint Bobo. "On behalf of Holly we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. We will never understand the actions or the motives of those who took Holly from us. Those responsible will be afforded a trial. As an innocent victim Holly had no such right. Although in prison they can breathe and visit with loved ones, not Holly. We've lost a precious daughter...but those responsible have lost their souls. The family knows that Holly is in a better place. We hope that no family will have to experience what we have endured. The family has asked for privacy to grieve."

Sheriff Keith Byrd also spoke not as Sheriff, but as friend to the family. "My original goal was to find Holly...my new goal is to see that the people who did this are punished." On other arrests: "Other arrests will be forthcoming. They can run but they can't hide." On location of remains: "It was behind the cell phone tower." He was unclear if the area had ever been searched. On aerial surveilance and ping map: "That area was one of the areas" searched. "The foilage was too thick to see the ground very well. We were chasing ping signals at that time."

DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Less than 24 hours after authorities confirmed that Holly Bobo's bones were found in the woods in Decatur County, her family is ready to move on to the pursuit of justice.

Zachary Adams and Jason Autry are charged with murder and kidnapping in connection to Bobo's death. Both have pleaded not guilty.

Newly elected District Attorney Matt Stowe admitted it would have been hard to get a conviction had Bobo's remains not been found by the time the trial started.

Now, some believe there's enough evidence to pursue the death penalty.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TN (WSMV) -

Officials at the Williamson County Sheriff Department have confirmed Sunday that Zachary Adams, one of two suspects in the Holly Bobo murder case has been transferred to the Williamson County jail.

Decatur County District Attorney Matt Stowe tells WSMV they made the request to transfer Adams from the Chester County jail yesterday.

Stowe went on to say that Adams was too much of a burden on the jail staff, describing Adams as a high risk inmate.

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

It's been eight days since ginseng hunters found the biggest piece in the Holly Bobo case, an identifiable body.

Now, Zach Adams, the man accused of killing Bobo, is more than 100 miles away in a different jail.

Per the district attorney's request, he was relocated from the Chester County jail, where he's been since his arrest, to the Williamson County jail in Franklin.

Although this is just one week since Bobo's remains were found in the woods, the state said the timing is purely coincidental.

I don't believe it's coincidental. They are responsible for his safety and I think they fear he will be hurt or worse.

ARREST #5 - JOHN "DYLAN" ADAMS CHARGED IN HOLLY BOBO CASE

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, ^ John Dylan Adams, 26, of Decatur County, has been charged with one count of tampering with evidence.

"Agents developed information that on April 13, 2011, John Dylan Adams disposed of items he knew to be of evidentiary value to the case," the bureau said in a Thursday press release. (HOTD: I've always believed that Dylan, who was incarcerated on unrelated charges, gave authorities the info needed to secure search warrants against his brother Zachary. JMO.) What items Adams allegedly disposed of remains unclear.

"We have sworn statements from witnesses that saw Holly Bobo [alive] in the presence of both Zachary Adams and Jason Autry after her disappearance," Tennessee Bureau of Investigation director Mark Gwyn previously told reporters.

In June, two brothers, Jeffrey Kurt Pearcy, 42, and Mark Pearcy, 38, were arrested on charges of tampering with evidence and being accessories after the fact. Both men have said they are not guilty.

"We believe there are other individuals out there that have knowledge and possible involvement," Gwyn said. "Those individuals know who they are ... and can expect us at their doorstep very soon."

DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The brother of the man suspected of kidnapping and killing 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo appeared in court on Monday.

Dylan Adams, brother of Zachary Adams, is charged with tampering with evidence. That charge is based on him admitting to the TBI that he discarded evidence the day Bobo disappeared.

This was Dylan Adams' first time in court after being charged last week. He had nothing to say as officers escorted him into the Decatur County Courthouse.

Do we know what that evidence was? Sorry but I can't recall.

I think they are still looking for that cell phone video of Holly after her abduction. He may have destroyed it to protect himself and his brother.

Maybe the rape video? I'm not too sure, myself.

It would be a gift to have that video. They are all monsters and I hope those who participated in any fashion are put away for a good long time. Poor Holly. She must have been so scared :(

I don't know why I always focus on their fear. *sigh*

I focus on their fear and pain as well. She was so beautiful. I hope they catch all involved.

JACKSON, TN (WSMV) -

The family of the latest man accused in the Holly Bobo murder said Wednesday there's no way he could have been involved because he has the mental capacity of a child.

Dylan Adams is the brother of Zach Adams, the key suspect in the murder. He is accused of throwing away evidence.

A family member said Dylan Adams has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, and the TBI is taking advantage of that.

DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. – The brother of one of the suspects charged in the kidnapping and murder of Holly Bobo has now been charged with rape in connection with the case.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said 26-year-old John Dylan Adams was indicted Tuesday morning by a special Grand Jury in Decatur County on two counts of rape.

On September 17, 2014, Adams allegedly admitted to TBI agents that he was involved in the forcible rape of Holly Bobo on April 13, 2011, the day she went missing from her family's home in Darden.

Thanks for the update, Js.

Before today, I wasn't sure whether Dylan had actually participated in assaulting Holly.

I'd hoped his involvement was limited to covering for his brother and that he was fully cooperating for a plea deal. But, looks like he's as bad as the rest of the pack. Fucker.

It's be fun to give them an option at sentencing:

1: death by electric chair OR

2: life without parole and your nuts sliced off.

I was reading some of the comments that accompanied the article and someone asked if his attorney was present because Dylan can't read, he has an IQ of 70. I'd like to know if that is true or not. It would be great if someone from their community discovered Mock and could offer some insight.

DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Charges filed against Dylan Adams and Mark Pearcy pertaining to the murder of Holly Bobo have been dismissed.

The state will not pursue the charges filed against Adams and Pearcy at this time, but retains the right to re-file any charges in the future.

Tuesday, Adams was charged with two counts of rape of Bobo on April 13, 2011, the same day the 20-year-old nursing student disappeared from her Darden home. Those charges have not been dropped.

There are also pending federal firearms charges against Pearcy. This requires the state to wait until the end of any federal proceedings before it can obtain custody of Pearcy to proceed with state charges against him.

I have to take that to mean they think he raped her but didn't play a role in killing her.

Waiting is so difficult.
