But yet, I've made a very successful career for myself, and am not in school past the age of 30.
Although, I commend you for finally trying to get yourself a well paying job. How long did you flip burgers, and how many low paying jobs did you get fired from until you decided it was time to "go back to school"
OP finally making something of his life...just when the rest of us are retiring
A - I already have a college degree, if I wanted to be an asshat I could technically use letters after my name. The only letters you can use after your name are P.I.S.S.A.N.T.
B - My old career was an assistant supervisor working as a civilian for my local police force, this post required a college degree. The only shit shovelling short order burger flipper around is you asshole.
C - I am taking an opportunity you will NEVER have to embark on a new professional career path.

As usual you have shown your utter disregard for your fellow man and your complete lack of understanding of how statistics are used to determine and reach a reasonable conclusion.
This is also a symptom of delusional psychosis, your inability to see beyond your own fucked up view of the world and it's inhabitants.
A - Comparing someone with mental health problems to criminals is beyond retarded.
B - Come rapists!, come paedophiles!, come serial killers! dicks wants to show you how much he loves his fellow man! he wants to show his understanding and give you the love and compassion that you didn't show to any of your victims.
I think dicks right maybe Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy just needed a hug and some words of encouragement to rehabilitate them.

I am pro adult education, btw. I take a class myself here and there to stay sharp. If my mind rots, it will be pure biology and not because I let it.

Here's the deal Dick, having a degree in this day and age dosent mean what it used to mean. Alot of people have them now. I am from a generational working class background and now I am seen as something else. But the reality is, my sister and I can write assignments it's a gift we used it that's it. But I didn't get through University (college) on my own, you HAVE to network when you are an undergraduate because the courses are geared to all area's of strengths.
I have to say though the weak sneaky students soon work out who is who and what is what, and I am still naive (go on correct it) at my aged and I got used alot to help people with their assignments all for nothing. International student's knew I liked them and was friendly to everyone but I got used. Not many friends post uni, people use you then dump you. I have a few close buddies that's it. I have made better friends at church youth group that are still friends to this day and at work. Some of the best people you will meet at work coz that's where you can laugh and work out who is the bad cops and good cops!
And I didn't go to my graduation ceremony I hate all that crap, I just wanna good job to provide for my family. I have been abandoned by alot of my friends in the last 12 months I have felt more accepted and welcomed in here than by people I have known for years. Gosh I even went into the therapy room and got therapy here.
I know, its bloody true, I nearly suggested last week that OP spend some quality time in there. Because he critized my intellect, and yes I have self esteem issues, but my intellect is one of my strengths, I know I can do stuff. That's why I got used at uni.
I really think the fact that he has a piece of paper stating that he is legal sane does suggest a paper trail and that he has been discharged from involuntary admission into a facility of some sort.

No.
When I was ill I got a piece of paper saying I couldn't work, when I got better I got another piece of paper saying I could work.
Simple.

It's ok OP I am only having fun. This semester I had to learn indepth legal issues of voluntary and involuntary admission and how and why it happens. I wonder if you are learning that in social work. Germov?
sorry, i wasn't sure which thread to post this in:
DailyMail
Osama Bin Laden's son has denounced the Al Qaeda leader's killing as 'criminal' and said he reserves the right to take legal action against America.
The statement apparently made by Omar Bin Laden has appeared on an Islamist website.
Omar, who is Bin Laden's fourth eldest son, claimed he and the Al Qaeda chief's other children are reserving the right to take legal action in the U.S. and internationally to 'determine the true fate of our vanished father', said the SITE Intelligence Group, an online monitoring service.
He also branded his father's burial at sea as a 'humiliation' for his family.
There was no independent confirmation of the authenticity of the letter. It was published on the website of Islamist ideologue Abu Walid al-Masri.
Several specialists on militant propaganda said the text appeared genuine.
The news came as it emerged the CIA will allow a select few lawmakers to view the controversial pictures of Osama Bin Laden's corpse.
The CIA will allow the group to see the photos only if they travel to the agency's headquarters.
The move came as the White House faced renewed pressure to release the grisly images, following a series of requests filed under the Freedom of Information Act.
Has anyone ever taken count as to how many children Bin Laden sired?
He has had three since the US has been searching for him. The one
above looks very adult.
