i don't totally disagree with Trixie about the fact the parents should have been watching the little girl....HOWEVER - the child's 5 year old brother was riding bikes with her & they live in a small town, small neighborhood, on a dead end street.
it's NOT their fault that a stalking, child napping monster was watching her every move. it's not something i do but i do not blame them for what happened.
he just saw an opportunity & grabbed it.
is her death not enough punishment for them not watching her?

So, you agree that her parents should have been watching her? What's your argument then? If her parents were watching her (like they should have been since she's 3) she wouldn't have been snatched. I won't even let my 7 year old play outside by herself. They shouldn't have put that responsibility on a 5 year old. How do you think he feels? That's also the parents fault. This could have all been prevented.


I do think her death is enough of a punishment. I asked the question out of curiosity.

Poor baby.. Can her parents be charged with neglect? It's sad that this baby lost her life because her parents weren't watching her. I can't imagine the guilt they must feel.
